Natural stone house with a private terrace, a big garden, a completely enclosed site and a view of Mont Saint Michel

It is at the exit of a small village, Courtils, that your next gite is located.Your stay will take place in an authentic, rural house, with stones and exposed beams.In front of the gate a private car park and behind, an enclosed garden with trees, offering a relaxing view of the countryside and the nearby Mont Saint Michel.You will have the entire house without other tenants or owners.Within a radius of 50 km many tourist visits.Avranches with its botanical garden and its scriptorial, setting for the manuscripts of Mt St Michel.Villedieu, the city of copper from which come the new bells of Notre Dame de Paris.Jullouville-Granville with its fine sandy beaches, an aquarium, a casino, and the villa of C. The house was tastefully renovated in 2010 and provides 90m² of space for six people. The ground floor has a big living room with exposed stones and wooden beams, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and direct access to the south-facing terrace through a glass door. There are also a WC and a bathroom with a big walk-in shower. There is a package of information in the house about the many tourist attractions in the area. Stairs lead to the first floor with three bedrooms. These all have a double bed (140 x 190cm). One of the rooms looks out towards the garden and even towards Mont Saint Michel. On this floor there is also a WC. Children will enjoy the 25m² games room, with table football and a poolbillard table, as well as a range of toys. A cot and a highchair can be provided free of charge. Wireless Internet access is available in all the rooms and each room has a convection radiator.

The terrace, garden and one parking spaces are reserved for you. The site is completely enclosed. The wooden terrace in the 500m² garden is furnished with tables, chairs, deckchairs and a grill. The garden offers a wonderful view of countryside and Mont Saint Michel.

The nearest grocery shop and several restaurants are just a kilometre away. The town centre also has a bakery and a shop with regional produce. The house is ideally situated for exploring both Brittany and Normandy. Mont Saint Michel is just seven kilometres away. Whether you would like to just relax, gather cultural or culinary experiences, or engage in sports, everything is possible within a radius of 50 kilometres. Mont Saint Michel with the impressive abbey, Avranches with its Scriptorial (museum in the converted castle), the copper town of Villedieu, Jullouville with the lovely long sandy beach, Granville with the casino, the Dior Museum, the golf club and the beach promenade, the town of Saint Malo, Cancale and sampling of seafood, Dinard with its magnificent villas, and Dinan with its medieval houses. Don’t miss the opportunity to cross the bay on foot with a certified guide or fly over Mont Saint Michel in a light aircraft or hot air balloon. Apart from all of these options, there are parks, exhibitions, concerts, hikes…Plenty to fill your holiday with beautiful memories.

    “Ein schönes Haus mit herrlichem Garten. Das Bad und die Toiletten waren Ok. Leider gab es nur eine Bettdecke (190×200) für die Doppelbetten (140×200). Die Madratzen waren recht hart.
    Die Küche war sehr einfach eingerichter, hatte jedoch alles was wir brauchten. Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck gab es reichlich, aber nicht von der gleichen Sorte.”

    “Sehr schönes mit liebe eingerichtetes altes Haus mit wunderschönem Garten. Man hat alles was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind super nett. Bei Fragen standen sie innerhalb 10 minuten direkt vor Ort. Die Betten sind sehr gut.

    Wir vergeben trotzdem nur 4 Punkte da wir feststellen mussten, dass es nur oberflächlich sauber war. Wir mussten die Toiletten putzen und desinfizieren, da Fäkalien vom Vormieter noch zu sehen waren. Der Kühlschrank musste komplett ausgeputzt und die Küchenoberflächen (Kaffeemaschiene etc.) abgeputzt werden.
    Die Nachbarhunde waren durchgehend am bellen da die Nachbarin ihre Hunde alleine gelassen hat und die Türe auflässt. Die andere Nachbarin lässt ihren Hund den ganzen Tag über bellen ohne was zu sagen. Man wird morgens schon davon geweckt. Man hat dort viel Verkehr, nicht nur tagsüber. Nachts fuhren die Mähdrescher und Traktoren durch das Dorf.”

    “Nous sommes surpris pour la propreté car nous passons au moins 2 heures après chaque passage de locataire. Pour les aboiements, nous avons avisé le maire de la commune et envoyé un courrier aux propriétaires des chiens. Quant aux passages des tracteurs et moissonneuses, nous n'y pouvons rien , c'est la campagne avec ses désagréments, en l’occurrence la période des moissons.”

    “Een leuk vakantiehuisje met een heel mooie tuin. De tuin was volledig omheind wat erg prettig is voor hondenbezitters. We hebben dit huisje geen 5 huisjes gegeven omdat het in de keuken muf rook en omdat de keuken niet erg schoon was toen wij arriveerden. Verder is het huisje zeker aan te raden.”

    “Dom jest bardzo ładny, starannie odnowiony i pomimo odnowy nie stracił klimatu. Wyposażony jest we wszystko co niezbędne, a utrzymany wzorowo. Zapewnia też miejsce postojowe dla samochodu. Właściciele są bardzo życzliwi, a kontakt z nimi to przyjemność. Dom położony jest w miejscu które stanowi doskonałą bazę wypadową do zwiedzania zarówno Bretanii jak i Normandii. Gorąco polecam !”
