This classically charming and hospitable Valais holiday village offers a warm welcome! Relax and enjoy at an altitude of 1200 metres above sea level. Marvel at the fantastic surroundings from the terrace of this apartment, which accommodates four people. The many peaks in the area offer breathtaking views from a height of over 4000 metres. Gentle winds blow through the Rhone Valley, fascinating visitors with the changing colours of the water. Guests can enjoy the ride from the deep valley to the peaks via mountain roads that are open throughout the year.
Summer
The hiking area around Veysonnaz extends to the Valais Alps in the south. Revel in the beauty of nature in the 300 km hiking stretch in Veysonnaz. One could come across cows grazing in lush green meadows – they are harmless and love to be petted. The flora, fauna and dry meadows of Veysonnaz have been preserved, thanks to conservation efforts. Plucking of Silver Thistle flowers or Gentians is frowned upon.
The high mountains can be explored and offer guests exotic tours. The 12 km long "Bisse de Vex", for example, is a 15th century irrigation channel and has undergone expensive restoration. The area abounds in irrigation channels with not much difference in altitude, offering pleasant walking routes and wonderful views of the region.
Winter
Once winter sets in, Veysonnaz becomes a paradise for winter sports. Veysonnaz is part of the "Four Valleys" (“Quatre Vallées") area which has around 400 km of perfectly landscaped slopes. On the "Piste de l'Ours" above Veysonnaz, many World Cup races are held. A magnificent spectacle without an equal! The huge ski area of “Quattre-Vallées” stretches from Veysonnaz and the adjacent “Thyon 2000", on Nendaz, the Mont-Fort (3330 M) across to Verbier and La Tzoumaz. Enjoy the pleasure of skiing, with at least 410 km of ski path available for all levels - from beginners to professionals. 95 ski-lifts rapidly catapult you to the peaks from the valley, to ski down the mountains.
