Far away from the stress of everyday life, this beautiful vacation home in Carinthia is located high above Radenthein at 1,100 m above sea level on the edge of the Nockberge National Park. Quiet, located on the edge of the forest and surrounded by meadows you can also see the Millstättersee. All early risers have good chances to observe deer already in the morning. The proximity to the well-known ski resort Bad Kleinkirchheim with its more than 80 km of well-maintained slopes, over 25 cable cars and ski lifts, as well as countless cross-country ski trails make a family vacation in Radenthein a sporty winter pleasure. Cross-country skiing trails in the village complement the natural winter fun between sun and snow. You can take your four-legged friend to the accommodation free of charge - so nothing stands in the way of a vacation with dog in Carinthia!
The road from the village of Radenthein to the house runs about 5 km up the mountain. In winter, winter tires and snow chains are to be carried. Clearing takes place daily.

    “Das Haus liegt sehr hoch am Berg und ist nur mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Das garantiert eine ruhige Lage und eine schöne Aussicht, ist aber etwas einsam.
    Im Haus ist die Ausstattung mit Geschirr etc sehr knapp bemessen. Es ist nicht immer alles für 6 Personen vorhanden.

    “The house was nice and clean when we arrived. The kitchen contains what you need, the knifes are sharpe and everything functions as it should. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs is nice. The only negative thing we have to say about that is, that the water pressure in the shower is very low. It is almost impossible to wash the soap out of your hair in there.
    The sitting/living room is cozy. Downstairs is the large bedroom, it is nice and very spacy and it is nice that you can go out to the deck from there. The small bedroom is nice too. The bathroom is ok and there is a little better water pressure in the shower. The washing machine was very old, but did the job fine. Downstairs it was cold, which was nice in the hot summertime. The only negative thing we can say about downstairs is that the floor got wet on the tile floor. We suspect that it was condensation.
    We got a little surprised that we had to drive on a very small and steep road to the house. We think that it would have been nice to know. Like if it was in the house description online.
    Otherwise we loved the area around the house. The peace and quiet, the forest, the view from the house and the view you could get if you went up the road.”

    “Wunderschöne Lage mit Blick ins Tal. Bei Schnee nur mit Schneeketten erreichbar. Aber da es in der Region nicht so viel schneit, kein Problem. Wunderschönes Haus, auch wenn ein paar Kleinigkeiten in der Küche fehlen (Wasserkocher und Toaster).”
