Pleasant Holiday House in Sorbo-Ocagnano with Large Fireplace

This detached holiday house with a pool is about 25km to the south of Bastia in a quiet residential district in the little village of Querciolo, 5km before Folelli and just 5 minutes by car from the fine sandy beach Cap Sud on the east coast of the island.As described, you rent the house on the right-hand side, the owner lives in the adjoining building and will look after you personally on arrival and departure. If you have any questions or problems, you can be reached as a contact person during the day.

The family-friendly, ground-level, non-smoking house provides 120m² of living space, comprising a living room with a fireplace, a cosy suite and an integrated, sociable dining room, a well-equipped kitchen and three fully-furnished bedrooms each with their own shower room. There are also two separate WCs with windows. The first two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), bedside tables with reading lamps and wardrobes for storing your luggage. The third bedroom is an ideal children’s room with a single bed (90 x 200cm) and a bunk bed (2 x 90 x 200cm). The living room flooded with daylight provides two double sofas with an unusual coffee table and a fireplace that exudes pleasant warmth during the winter months if required. Satellite TV with a DVD player in front of the TV armchair, a stereo system and a little library with board games provide entertainment after a day trip. You go past the dining room with an oval dining table for eight people and a sideboard with plenty of crockery into the well-equipped kitchen with a fridge and three-star freezer compartment, a stove with four electric rings, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave and plenty of crockery. The three bathrooms are each fitted with a shower and washbasin, mirror, hairdryer, ample storage space, heating and a window. Apart from the large fireplace in the living room, The house is equipped with four mobile air conditionersYou will also find four tower fans in the house. Wireless Internet access can also be booked in addition. The baby package includes a highchair and a cot, on request and at a supplementary charge.

If it is too hot then the 40m² pool is ideal for cooling off from April to October. You can also use the outdoor shower with warm and cold water. By the pool there is the highlight of this accommodation, namely the fully-equipped summer kitchen with further crockery, four gas cooking rings, a large fridge with a separate freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso machine, a toaster, a kettle and plenty of worktop space. The summer kitchen is lockable with roller blinds and over the entire length of the summer kitchen there are two electric sun blinds. The summer kitchen also has a fan for cool air. Right next to the summer kitchen there is a rattan lounge for a cozy get-together. Plenty of garden furniture, a large dining table and plenty of garden chairs are provided for spending time outdoors. The generous garden of 4000m² provides ample space for activities (ex. the boules alley). Or you can enjoy sunbathing on the deckchairs. You can also find shady spots for a midday nap, ideally in the hammock. Many oleander and olive trees enclose the site with their wealth of blossom and there is an extensive, sunny lawn, so you can enjoy your holiday to the full in pure nature. You can laze under the parasol, in the canopy swing or in one of the many deckchairs on the terrace and watch the kids playing on the large and fully enclosed site. Dogs are also welcome, with a shady kennel on site.

Special features apart from the summer kitchen include the large Nairobi stone grill for preparing rustic meals. When darkness falls, the whole site and the pool are illuminated: time for a romantic end to the day with a glass of excellent Corsican wine or an unforgettable round of boules on the designated floodlit area.Arrival-departure information for our villa: Suggestion from us: On request, you can also arrive on Sunday morning, but the booking is made from Saturday.

It is about 800 metres to the centre with a grocery shop, a pizzeria, a pharmacy and public transport. There are many restaurants and shops about 3 to 5 km away. It is just 3km to Cap Sud with a lovely sandy beach. You can enjoy water sports by the beach, hiking and skiing in the mountainous inland area, the unique landscape and historical towns, villages and places of interest, which make Corsica an ideal holiday destination. It is possible to arrive by plane or ferry. It is convenient to arrive by plane, as the Bastia (Poretta) airport is just 12km from the house and it is only a flight of one hour and 40 minutes from Cologne/Bpnn. It is just 26km to the port at Bastia and arriving by ferry also has its charm.

    “Insbesondere durch Außenbereich und tolle Sommerküche bei gutem Wetter ein tolles Domizil,
    aber auch relativ teuer. Was man auch wissen sollte: es ist nicht das ganze Haus, das im Internet abgebildet ist, sondern nur der rechte Teil. Das ist ausreichend, aber es ist dennoch irreführend. Positiv: Garten und Sommerküche Negativ: Lage an der Straße, manchmal war es etwas laut durch LKWs, die vorbeifahren

    “Die Beschreibung des Hauses wurde ergänzt und angepasst. Es kann 2x am Tag ein Lieferwagen vorbei fahren, da unten sich die Obst Plantagen befinden, jedoch ist dies echt sehr selten und es haben sich noch nie Gäste beschwert!”
