Apartment in Waase with Communal Parking and Extensive View

In the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park and away from mass tourism, Rügens’s small and quiet sister island awaits you. A 240-metre-long bridge provides convenient access to the island. Idyllically situated fishing villages, nature that is constantly changing with the seasons and a cultivated landscape developed over the centuries, as well as the particularly quiet location of the apartment invite you to take time out from everyday life. This cosy and quietly situated holiday apartment is in the attic of a detached two-family house in the tranquil little community of Waase.

The loggia is a room integrated into the living room that is accessed through a balcony door and is almost entirely glazed all around. A large external window with sliding doors gives this room a balcony-like atmosphere, enhanced by the garden furniture. Depending on the wind and weather, you can benefit from a sheltered seating area with an extensive view over the island. There is a parking space on site right by the house.

The two-room apartment classified as four-star provides 51m² of living space, comprising a bedroom with a double bed, an open and generous living and dining room with a sofa bed, a fully-equipped kitchen and a shower room with a WC. The bedroom is furnished with a generous double bed (180 x 200cm), with sprung mattresses and adjustable slatted frames for a comfortable night’s sleep. Next to the bed there are two bedside tables with reading lamps. A large wardrobe is available for storing your luggage. The centrepiece of the apartment is the living room with an integrated loggia, allowing plenty of pleasant daylight and a fresh sea breeze in. You can relax here on the very comfortable leather suite with a two-seater sofa and two armchairs. A flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver anda DVD player provides entertainment in the evening. The sofa can also be used as a bed for a third and fourth guest. The kitchen enables comprehensive self-catering with a dishwasher, a four-zone ceramic hob with an oven, a microwave, a filter coffee and Tassimo capsules machine, an egg boiler, a kettle etc. You can dine together at the dining table in the living room, right in front of the loggia. There is a display cabinet with suitable glasses for a drink in the evening. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin, WC and washing machine. Beds are already made on arrival and a laundry package is provided.

The little island has a diameter of about 8.5 kilometres at the longest point and is therefore ideal to explore by bicycle. The flat cycle path invites you to go on extended tours. There is a kite surfing school on the other side of the island. There are cafés, restaurants and fish gastronomy 400 metres away and the beach is 500 metres away. There are grocery shops about 2km away. The island is accessed by car over a bridge, alternatively the water taxis are an unforgettable means of transport.

    “Würde wieder buchen und kann ich trotz der kleinen Mängel empfehlen. Positiv: Sehr schön und geschmackvoll
    eingerichtet! Haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Negativ: Kaffeemaschine war verschmutzt,ebenso ein Teil der Kochtöpfe.Handtücher müssen bei 2.Woche extra bezahlt werden.”

    der Einrichtung Ihren Geschmack getroffen haben und Ihnen somit den gewünschten
    Wohlfühlfaktor bieten konnten.
    Es tut uns sehr leid, daß es da wohl ein kleines kommunikatives Mißverständnis bzgl. der
    Handtücher gab. Ihnen steht ja kostenfrei eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung und daher
    können Sie gerne die zur Verfügung gestellten Handtücher selbst reinigen wenn Sie das
    möchten. Unsere Vor-Ort- Betreuung reinigt die Wäsche auch für uns nicht kostenfrei, wir
    werden diesen Hinweis aber gerne in unserer Gästemappe mit aufnehmen. Daß die Töpfe und
    die Kaffeemaschine nicht zu Ihrer Zufriedenheit gereinigt waren, ist sehr schade aber wir
    bitten Sie darum, dies der personell angespannten Lage in Bezug auf Reinigungspersonal zu
    schulden, unsere Betreuer geben Ihre Bestes, Ihnen eine saubere Wohnung zu übergeben.
    Leider ist es auch sehr traurig, wie sie eine Wohnung nach einer Gästeabreise manchmal
    vorfinden.
    Die ländliche Struktur von Waase hat Ihre Vor- und Nachteile, in Bezug auf die
    Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind es vor Ort die Bauernhofläden bei Kliewe und Lange, die Ihnen
    die Möglichkeit für einen Frischeeinkauf vor Ort bieten sowie das Bäcker- und Metzgerauto
    einmal in der Woche.
    Frischfisch können Sie lediglich am kleinen Hafen direkt beim Fischer kaufen, wenn er was
    gefangen hat.
    Wir persönlich sehen dies jedoch als Inspiration, wirklich nur regionale und saisonale
    Produkte zu konsumieren und man so wieder Ursprünglichkeit erlebt. Ein Gast hat erst vor
    kurzem geschrieben, daß es eine andere Art von Urlaub ist, wie er sie noch nie gemacht
    hat, aber im positiven. Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn wir wieder Ihre Gastgeber sein
    dürften, alles Gute Ihr Vermieter”
