Holiday apartment near Pisa with plenty of space and a wonderful terrace – ideal for a holiday with your loved ones
The holiday apartment is on the first floor of a historical building in Montemagno, a medieval locality that is part of Calci, in the hills in Pisa province.
The apartment features a furnished terrace with a pretty pergola. It is planted with flowers and is the perfect place for enjoying sociable evenings with a meal from the grill and good wine. There are also an outdoor toilet and a shower here. If you arrive by car you can park it on a public car park about 80 metres away. You can stop by the entrance for loading and unloading only.
The house was built in the 18th century and was last restored in 2005. The house entrance is on the ground floor, with stairs leading to the first floor. The apartment is idea for a holiday with the family, for a group or acquainted couples, as it has four bedrooms each with a double bed (160 x 190cm), as well as a wardrobe and bedside tables. The kitchen is generous and has a rustic atmosphere. There is a solid wooden dining table with chairs in the middle. The kitchen unit is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a toaster and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The big fireplace here can be used and the firewood is provided for a small fee. The spacious living room is light and has a fireplace that cannot be used and an upholstered suite in front of it for enjoying a coffee. There is a dining table next to it with chairs and there is another sofa by the wall. One of the sofas can be pulled out as a double bed. Two bathrooms are available: one with a shower and one with a bath and shower attachment. A TV with DVBT channels, a computer, free Internet access, a washing machine, heating and fans are available. Owing to the thick stone external walls and the location in the hills, air conditioning is not required. One of the bedrooms has a cot. A folding bed for one person can be set up in the kitchen.
There are shopping facilities and a supermarket about 1km away. It is just a short walk to a restaurant in Montemagno. The art cities of Tuscany are also easy to get to: Pisa in 15 minutes by car, Lucca in 20 minutes and Florence in about an hour. It is 2km to sports facilities and a swimming pool.
