Beautiful vacation accommodation on Storsaasen, high above Sjusjövannet.

Look forward to this cozy accommodation, consisting of two cabins and is ideal for larger families or several generations. The well-equipped cabins have two saunas that can be used simultaneously. Relaxation after active days in the great outdoors is therefore pre-programmed. The modern extension promises you a great view of Snörvillen and Sjusjövannet from the panoramic window when you wake up in the master bedroom. But you can also enjoy spending time together in the main house with its open kitchen and plenty of space for cooking during your vacation. The house has large windows that let in plenty of natural light and offer a spectacular panoramic view of the mountains. On clear days, the view extends as far as Högevarde. In the evening, the lights of Gjövik can be seen. There is a direct view of Birkebeinerlöypa, which is just a few hundred meters below the cabin.

The cottage has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy hours in the sun and the view while you plan the many activities of your vacation.

There are endless activities on Sjusjøen: In summer, Sjusjøvannet has many beautiful hiking trails in the mountains, cycling trails, downhill runs and fishing opportunities. It is possible to rent a canoe with trailer from the homeowner (June-September). This is arranged directly with the house owner. In winter, Sjusjøen is a skiing paradise with a network of 30 miles of trails extending to Ringsaker and Øyerfjellet. For alpine skiing, it is a short distance to Sjusjøen Ski Center Natrudstilen and a short drive to Hafjell Alpin with slopes suitable for the whole family.

The center of Sjusjøen with stores and restaurants is about 2.5 km from the cabin. For excursions during the vacations, it is also not a long way to the Olympic city of Lillehammer with cultural experiences and good restaurants. Here you can enjoy your vacation at Hunderfossen Family Park, Lilleputthammer and the beautiful open-air museum Maihaugen.
