Spacious and welcoming stone farmhouse with private pool, 5 km from Bevagna, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The house is ideal for families and groups of friends who wish to spend a holiday together in the green Umbrian countryside. Next to the large shaded swimming pool is a veranda equipped for outdoor dining with large masonry barbecue / fireplace. The comfortable and spacious accommodation has mosquito nets on all windows and is also suitable for families with children thanks to the security fence that borders the pool area. The property is bordered on two sides by a suggestive and extended noceto and offers parking in front of the lodging. The area offers various recreational opportunities, at only 1 km possibility of guided bike tours and Slow travel & visits, Food and wine experiences can be organized too. In June in Bevagna takes place the famous medieval festival of Gaite, while in Spello (16 km ) there is the flower festival. From Assisi (20 Km) an evocative half-day balloon tour alllows you to enjoy this part of Umbria from above. Nearby there are various walking and trekking paths. This is an ideal starting point for visiting the characteristic small surrounding villages: 2 km Torre del Colle, 12 km Montefalco with its renowned Sagrantino di Montefalco wine, and the cities of art such as Assisi (20 km), Todi (30 km), Perugia (30 km), Spoleto (50 km), Gubbio (70 km) and Orvieto (75 km). Rome and Florence can be reached in approx. 2 hours drive. The last 200 m of the access road are not paved.
