Holiday villa with a private swimming pool

Dryadesvilla is located in Armeni village, which is 8 kilometers from the town of Rethymno.The following description is a first draft, which is still awaiting revision. Please contact our Customer Service if it contains any gaps.

In the courtyards are lounges for relaxing any time of the day and dining for dinner, every beautiful part of the house , in the barbecue in the courtyard of the kitchen and the terrace above the pool area .The house has two large patios , on one of the two there is a build wood oven , barbecue with dining and lounge with retractable awning over it for extra shade . On the same side of the house , above the courtyard , a stone staircase leads to two levels of stone , which formed in gardens . There is also a large terrace overlooking the pool, which features a dining table and sofas. Below this terrace is a beautiful garden with swimming pool , ideal for relaxing .

It is a two storey traditional stone house , the ground floor of which was built in 1930 , extended in height in 1993 and formed around the outset . The total area of the villa is 205 square meters and plot of 1000 sqm. Furnishings and decor includes traditional Cretan furniture, textiles and embroidery . In the rooms can accommodate 8-10 people . It has 4 bedrooms , 1 bathroom , 1 wc, 1 kitchen and 3 living in a single room with dining area ( with a neo-classical furnishings , an authentic Cretan island living and a living room). . It also has parking for 3 cars , free internet access and satellite TV . The thick stone walls and tiles on the roof of the house help during the summer months to maintain freshness inside, to such an extent as to render the use of air condition unnecessary. However, if you need more freshness , your provided fans for each bedroom . The house is suitable for all seasons , as has central heating with radiators and modern fireplace .

Just a few meters away you can find a supermarket, petrol station , pharmacy , known Alekos Taverna winning gold cap for the traditional menu , cafe , traditional cafe , bakery , ATM, vet . Located within a few km from the town of Rethymnon , you can find lively nightlife , restaurants, market , beaches etc. Also located halfway on the beautiful beaches in the south of the island .

Guests have access to all places and all the facilities of the villa.Also the owner or another family member will be present at your arrival and on an almost daily basis. Our aim is to try as much as possible to make you feel right at home and help you to experience the beautiful landscape and our activities you can combine your vacation.

    “Tolles Haus mit Pool und großem eingezäunten Grundstück.
    Der Pool liegt den ganzen Tag in der Sonne.
    Einem schönen Urlaub steht nichts im Weg.
    In dem kleinen Dorf gibt es alles, was man braucht. Rethymnon und Strand sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen.
    Die Anfahrt zum Haus hoch ist mit einem großen Auto( für 7 Personen) nur langsam und mit Bedacht möglich.
    Tupperdosen sollte man mitnehmen für Brot und Keckse( Ameisen besuchen einen gerne).”

    “Et meget dejligt hus, som lever op til alle forventninger. Udlejer er rigtig sød, og meget hjælpsom.
    Huset har mange hyggelige kroge i haven.
    Dejlig rumlige værelser, hvor 3 af dem har AC.
    Huset ligger lidt højt og det er ikke helt nemt at komme til i en minibus, men en god chauffør kan det lade sig gøre.”

    “Die Dryadesvilla ist ein wunderschöner Ort um Ferien zu machen. Liebevolle Einrichtung, viel Platz um sich auszubreiten, viele schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten zum entspannen und ein toller Pool, garantieren einen unvergesslichen Urlaub auf einer wunderschönen Insel. Nikos ist ein angenehmer und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der auch jeder Zeit zu erreichen war. Die harten Betten sind Gewohnheitssache aber kein Problem. Auffahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich aber nach etwas Routine kein Problem. Die Grillecke ist wunderschön gestaltet und regt sehr zum abendlichen verweilen, feiern...an. Man fühlte sich sehr schnell heimisch und jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben. Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert!”

    “Et dejligt hus med fantastiske udendørs arealer til afslapning og spisning. Poolen er fin og bliver holdt ren. Huset er dejligt indrettet, dog med utrolig hårde madrasser som et virkeligt minus.
    Desværre bor der lige ved siden af huset 3 mere eller mindre forladte tynde hunde på en forladt grund. De fodres kun et par gange om ugen, og er af den grund meget urolige og gør utrolig meget, ofte sent på aftenen men især i de tidlige morgentimer.
    Desuden lugter nabo grunden ofte dårligt pga hundenes efterladenskaber og det kan lugtes ved poolen. Vi adspurgte under opholdet om ikke der kunne gøres noget ved de hunde og deres leve vilkår som virkelig var mere end forfærdelige, men fik at vide at det kunne der ikke da ejeren boede i en helt anden by!
    Det trækker desværre helhedsindtrykket af huset ned, og hvis ikke hundene var der, ville huset få en højere bedømmelse.
