A Spacious Villa with a Pool just 12 Km from the Sea

CRETAN INSPIRED HOSPITALLITY
Villa Archon is an imposing design building that consists of two independent living units but also functions as a single residence.
It is built on a sloping level which results in two independent ground floor apartments with two main entrances connected by an internal staircase.The two different sections of the house are separated from each other by an internal door that can be locked.
It is ideally designed to accommodate one or even two families or a small group with the appropriate privacy.

There are 4 bedrooms - 3 bathrooms all of them with showers and the bedrooms have air condition. In both levels, there are kitchens fully equipped.
In both levels there are fenced courtyards providing protected parking spaces as well a place that kids will have the chance to run, climb, jump and yell in a secure place.

In order to reduce your cost for reservations of up to 4 people we offer only the main apartment on the upper level of the villa which is 150sqm. and we believe it is more than enough. In this option all the exterior courtyards, gardens, furniture of the lower and upper levels of the villa will be at your disposal but you will not only have access to the interior of the lower level apartment. In this option we assure you that respecting your privacy the lower apartment will remain closed and will not be rented to anyone else during your stay.

MAIN FLOOR:
This is the part of the villa that we regularly rent and comfortably accommodate a family of 4-5 persons. It is characterized by typical elements of Cretan traditional architecture such as authentic stone, old wood and narrow openings that blend together with modern furniture and equipment providing a very decompressing and pleasurable atmosphere.
Of course renting this section the access to all verandas and courtyards surrounding the whole villa is in your disposal.
Entering the wooden door with stone arch find the 50sqm living and dining room where there is also a traditional attic which can be used as an office or as an extra bedroom (After request).
A Greek dinner can easily be cooked in the fully equipped kitchen area which is separated and situated in a lower level from the spacious living and dining room.
The huge veranda beside the living room has an unhindered view and is the proper place to enjoy a romantic dinner or lunch.
The master bedroom which is air-conditioned is consisted of a king size stoned-built bed with private bathroom and a balcony with a breathtaking view
The second bedroom which is also air-conditioned has two comfortable traditional iron beds with private bathroom and a French door which leads directly to a peaceful yard

LOWER LEVEL:
If you're more than a family or a large group of friends or just want more space, we can additionally provide you the lower level of the villa with an extra low cost.
At this level there is a smaller but also comfortable fully equipped kitchen with a living room. The Master bedroom is air-conditioned with a king size bed and a French door which leads to the yard where the external Jacuzzi is located.
The second bedroom contains a two-storey bed that children find it very interesting and enjoy sleeping there.
The bathroom is decorated in a country style and has a shower.
This part of the villa has also an independent entrance and connected with the main section with an internal staircase isolated by a door.

Our primary consideration during your stay in Archon Villa is children find happiness not only in things that we provide, but also in experiences that offer meaning, satisfaction and joy.
In our fenced courtyards, verandas and balconies your kids will have a break to get a chance to run, climb, jump and yell without anyone harping on them and settle down to a secure place.
Also there the adults can be recompensed by the unique smell of the Cretan nature local herbs and flowers which wake all your senses.
The brand new swimming pool along with the kid's corner ensures endless hours of playing for the children and secure moments of complete relaxation for the grown-ups

Staying late in the afternoon, mainly in the late summer, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the watercolor painting of pink, purple and orange of the sky as the sun is making its descent down to the Mediterranean sea.
But you will be further rewarded if you stay a little longer to admire the wonderful star lit skies at night listening the owl’s pleasant song.

Villa Archon is located 75Km from the airport of Chania and situated on a hill overlooking the wild and green valley just above the settlement of “Prodromi” .

Villa Archon is ideal not only as a focal point to explore the southwest Crete but also is offered for a numerous walkings starting just outside the villa.
The marked European path E4 is extremely near the village allowing walkers to have the chance to discover a wonderful and incredible natural world.
Southwest Crete is famous for its impressive gorges, long sandy beaches and deep-blue seas.
The areas morphological characteristics, low, uncrowned, rounded mountains blend with ancient villages full of frescoed churches by Crete’s artists for the year 1000 to the first half of the 15th century.
This distinctiveness, combined with an extensive coastline on the Libyan sea with large and small bays of rare beauty stretching from Sougia village all the way to Elafonisi bay, make the area an ideal location in your search for “eclectic“ vacation.
