The mountain chalet is situated at around 1300 metres above sea level amidst an impressive mountain panorama on the edge of the Saalbach-Hinterglemm ski resort. The house stands alone right by the edge of a forest.

Secure your dream holiday in the rustic mountain chalet now. The first two bedrooms are each furnished with two bunk beds, accommodating four people in each. Up to ten people can be accommodated in the attic. The two bathrooms have modern tiles, a shower and WC. Underfloor heating in both exudes pleasant warmth. There is plenty of seating in the living room-kitchen. There is also a radio. A wood-burning stove provides cosy heating. The kitchen has a modern design and includes a big dishwasher, as well as a filter coffee machine, toaster and kettle.

It is an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours in summer, and in winter with the right snow conditions you can ski directly to the chalet and from there via piste no. 68 into the valley, with ski bus connections to the ski lifts. A grocery shop and a ski school are about 4km away. Zell am See is about 11km and Saalbach about 12km away. In summer, there is a swimming pool by the chalet Hecherhütte 800 metres away. There are many day trip destinations in the area such as the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, Krimml waterfalls, Eisriesenwelt, Burg Hohenwerfen or the Mittersill National Park Centre, ensuring there will not be a dull moment.

Pets are welcome at the chalet. Please note that the access to the chalet is along three kilometres of asphalted mountain road as far as Hecherhütte and then 800 metres of gravel track. In winter snow chains are necessary.

Please note: In the additional costs, the final cleaning is indicated with a maximum amount for 14 people, should you book with less people, this amount can be reduced a little bit. This will be discussed with you on site.

    “Nur 2 Worte: Einfach schön! Positiv: Die Almhütte, das Rustikale; einfach mal anders und es war sehr schön dort oben. Nette Vermieter, alles gut. Etwas überrascht waren wir wegen der Größe der Küche. Hier hatte es das "Weitwinkelobjektiv" gut gemeint. Alles in allem, ein gelungener Aufenthaltsort und sehr gerne wieder bei all der schönen Natur mit Kühen vor der Almhütte und abseits der Hektik. Vielen Dank das wir dort sein konnten. Das beste noch.....Kein TV ;-) Negativ: Der Grill, hier sollte man seitens der Vermieter vlt immer einen neuen Rost bereit stellen. Das alte Rost war nicht ok. Ebenfalls bestimmt Dinge bei den Toiletten. Man möchte doch hier das Gefühl haben Erster zu sein. Restaurant: Steinerwirt in Zell am See - Erstklassige Speisen, Service gut, Hund durfte auch rein. Ausflüge: Krimler Wasserfälle - Schön zum Anschauen und gleichzeitiges "wandern"”

    “Ein Traumhafter Urlaub den wir jederzeit wiederholen würden Positiv: Besonders gut hat mir die Lage am Berg und die damit verbundene Ruhe gefallen.
    Die Ausstattung der Hütte war auch sehr gut. Negativ: Das Stromaggregat müsste ein bisschen besser schall isoliert sein. Aber das hört man nach 2 Tagen auch nicht mehr so laut.”

    “Gut ausgestattete Selbstversorgerhütte mit Herd zum anfeuern, aber auch 2 normalen Kochplatten, wobei wir immer den Holzherd benutzt haben.
    In der Hütte ist es immer schön warm und es gibt immer heißes Wasser da Strom neben der Hütte mit einer Wasserturbine erzeugt wird.
    Herrliche Alleinlage auf 1300m Höhe. Weg zur Hütte war gut befahrbar.
    800m unterhalb der Hütte gibt es eine bewirtschaftete Hütte.”

    “Ausstattung ist top. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Mehr als man bei einer rustikalen Hütte erwartet. Die Hütte ist mit dem Auto erreichbar und trotzdem einsam und idyllisch. In 15 min ist man wieder unten im Dorf. So eine saubere Hütte wie diese habe ich selten erlebt, Bäder, Küche, Schlafräume: alles Tip top. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt optimal. Die Hütte eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Wanderungen oder im Winter fürs Skifahren.”
