Private Holiday Villa with a Private Pool The villa is located 14 kilometers east of Rethymno, on the outskirts of Viran Episkopi, a quiet village built around the old diocese of 'Agrion' which had been established in the area during the Venetian occupation of Crete.

The balconies spanning around both floors offer you breathtaking, panoramic views towards the mountains of Psiloritis and Lefka Ori and the beautiful surrounding landscape. A luscious garden within a 14.000 sq.m. private olive grove, a 45sq.m. private swimming pool with separate children's pool and adjacent BBQ with stone oven, are to be found around the villa premises. The villa's premises are enclosed and not overlooked.

The 180 sq.m. villa can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, has a 45sq.m. private swimming pool with separate children’s pool and is surrounded by a rich, beautiful garden within a 14.000sq.m. private olive grove. The ground floor main entrance leads into a large open plan dining room/lounge furnished with period furniture, an adjacent sitting room with fireplace and comfortable sitting, followed by a fully equipped built-in kitchen with a large dining table. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower/WC on the same floor. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor which has four bedrooms, all of them with air-conditioning and a spacious bathroom with bathtub/WC. Two of the bedrooms include a King-size double bed (1.60m wide) and the other two include two single beds (0.90m wide) each. A baby cot is available on request. Ample seating is available for all Guests, both indoors and outdoors.

The closest beaches are at a 5' driving distance. The villa's central location along the island and its proximity to the north National Highway (2,5kms away) make it the ideal accommodation for excursions the west, east, north and south parts of Crete! The villa is located 14 kilometers east of the city of Rethymno, on the outskirts of Viran Episkopi a quiet village built around the old diocese of 'Agrion' which had been established in the area during the Venetian occupation of Crete. Our central location along the island and proximity to the north National Highway (2,5kms away) make this the ideal accommodation for excursions the west, east, north and south parts of Crete! Due to the quiet setting, a car would be considered essential to explore the immediate area and the island's vast variety of places of interest. The nearest finger food taverns/cafes can be found at 250m distance in Viran Episkopi, whereas sandy beaches, taverns, bakery, pharmacy and the nearest super-markets are just 2,5 Kms to the northwest. Interesting nearby outings can also be made to the village of Margarites with its traditional pottery makers, the ancient ruins of old Eleftherna with its brand-new museum (opened in May 2016) and the historical monastery of Arkadi. In the small town of Perama 10 Kms to the east, there are super-markets, banks and ATMs, the post office, taverns and a larger variety of shops.

Up to two baby cots and high chairs are available free of charge to our Guests for the younger children after arrangement with us. There is nothing better than a warm, delicious home-made meal to welcome our Guests with, after a long tiring journey. We will have prepared a welcome lunch or dinner for all our Guests booking the villa for 7 nights or more.
