Historical timber-framed house with modern comfort, right by the Moselle
This detached timber-framed house enjoys a quiet location in Mesenich, a little community in the Cochem holiday region, centrally located between Cochem and Zell, Koblenz and Trier. The house faces south and has a little outdoor sitting area.
The accommodation provides around 45m² of living space for up to two people and brings together modern comfort and the flair of old oak beams, stairs and floorboards. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic hob, a mini oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee machine. The adjoining open living room has a dining table with chairs, a fireplace stove (wood is available) for cosiness on cooler days, and a sofa bed for one person. The owner can provide a highchair and cot on request. On the first floor there is a sunny bedroom with a double bed (180cm wide), a wall cupboard and satellite TV. The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a WC and a hairdryer. All the rooms have heating and free Wi-Fi access. Services such as utilities, bed linen, towels and the final cleaning are included in the rental price.
An outdoor seating area awaits you with a charcoal grill, for leisurely grille evenings. The owner can provide two 7-gear bicycles. You can park your car free of charge on a public parking space.
As the owner lives on site, you have a direct contact person in the event of any queries.
Many trip destinations such as Beilstein or the Geierley suspension bridge are nearby. Hiking trails such as the Moselsteig or Calmont are also within easy access. The nearest grocery shop is about 5km away. It is just 100 metres to cafes and restaurants. If you enjoy sports activities, you can visit a golf course, a swimming pool and canoe hire (ca. 4km), as well as a tennis court (ca. 1km) and water sports (just 100 metres away).
