You will feel right at home in the bright, modern holiday apartment Aragon in the village of Ernen near Fiesch and the Aletsch Arena.
The holiday apartment is spread over two floors. On the first floor is the well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, freezer compartment and other amenities as well as the cosy living room and a bathroom with shower. The balcony on the same floor also offers you a breathtaking panoramic view towards Brig and the surrounding mountain ranges.
The spiral staircase takes you to the second floor of the apartment. There you will find the two bedrooms, one of which has a sauna. There is also a separate bathroom with shower on this floor.
The apartment has its own parking space in the underground car park, which is located approx. 50 metres from the apartment. The apartment itself can be reached via an external staircase. You can use the communal washing machine for a fee.

To make your holiday in Valais perfect, the outdoor area with playground for the children, table tennis and garden chess and the barbecue area are available for shared use. In winter, the pistes of the Aletsch region with the Aletsch Glacier, Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp as well as the Gums cross-country skiing region are just a few minutes away. These regions are ideal for hiking in summer.

Summer

Hikers take note: There are few places where nature offers a more impressive hiking backdrop than in the Aletsch Arena region. What's more, the region is part of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site, making it a unique natural landscape that is particularly worthy of protection. Hike along the edges of the Great Aletsch Glacier; a tour that brings you closer to the four-thousand-metre peaks of Valais. Another breathtaking experience is the crossing of the Aletsch Forest with its pine trees up to 900 years old. There are a total of 300 kilometres of hiking trails to discover. How many days will it take you? No matter how long it takes, you can always return to your cosy holiday home. Provided, of course, that you book early and for enough time.
The regional nature park "Landschaftspark Binntal" is also very close by. The park is known for its wealth of minerals and diverse flora and fauna. A special highlight of the region around Ernen is the 280 metre-long Goms Bridge, which crosses the Rhone in Fürgangen, above Fiesch. Ernen itself was awarded the Wakker Prize at the end of the 1970s for its wonderfully preserved buildings, such as the Tellenhaus with the oldest Tell frescoes in Switzerland and the Capuchin House.

Winter

From Ernen you will find wonderful winter hiking trails, such as the 4km long trail from Ernen via Obere Binnegga to Ausserbinn. Six kilometres of classic cross-country ski trails between Ernen and Steinhaus are also prepared for guests every winter.
Skiing and snowboarding are great fun in the region around Fiesch! 104 km of perfectly groomed pistes in the nearby Aletsch Arena open up the dream slopes between the holiday resorts of Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiesch-Eggishorn. The altitude of the ski area between 1,845 and 2,869 metres guarantees perfect conditions from December to April. The sun spoils you with plenty of sunshine high above the Rhone Valley. Pure fun on the slopes is guaranteed for everyone, from beginners to pros. Snowboarding enthusiasts will be equally delighted: Snowboarders and freeriders can let off steam in various snow parks, halfpipes and on the freeride routes. Even if "snowboard" means "snowboard", you are well protected from avalanches and natural snow slabs on the official pistes thanks to excellent piste protection.
