Casale San Basso is a private villa with pool in Le Marche region, located at few km from the centre of Offida and the renowned Riviera delle Palme. Nestled in the fascinating hill landscape of Le Marche, this beautiful farmhouse is the perfect solution for those searching for relaxing holidays. Moreover, it is an excellent starting point to discover the food & wine specialties and the beauties of the many lovely borgos of the area such as Offida, Castignano, Acquaviva Picena and Ripatransone. The property is totally fenced-in and offers its guests a wide garden with pool and adjoining porch perfect to find shelter from the sun. Guests can benefit of another porch equipped with table and chairs for al fresco dining.
The farmhouse is on two levels. On the ground floor there is a wide living room with fireplace and dining area with direct outdoor access, a kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a laundry room with closet. From the living room an internal staircase leads to the sleeping area consisting of two double bedrooms, two twin bedrooms (joinable beds), a bathroom with shower and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. This floor can be reached also through an external staircase which gives another independent access. Here is a small lodge with view over the surrounding hills.

OFFIDA
Offida is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy but above all it is the homeland of Piceno wine. It is located in Le Marche region, in the province of Ascoli Piceno a few kilometres from the sea. The historic centre of Offida is of great artistic and cultural interest and is enclosed within the town walls. Among the religious buildings the eighteenth-century Collegiate Church, where you can admire a reconstruction of the cave of Lourdes, the Church of Addolorata, the Church of Sant’Agostino with the Chapel of Miracolo Eucaristico and the Church of Santa Maria della Rocca, rising on the top of a hill overlooking the Picena valley. Another place not to be missed is the former Monastery of San Francesco with Le Marche regional Wine Cellar. Here you will find the best regional products and many organised tastings. In the Piceno area there are many wineries and guided tours can be booked with tastings of wines and typical products. Offida is also very famous for the art of ‘Merletto a Tombolo‘, a noble and precious lace seen in the most famous world brands.

In winter the most significant event is the historical Carnival with music, masks and unique rituals. During the summer season the calendar is really rich in events dedicated to food& wines, such as Sagra del Maccheroncino della Trebbiatura e Cinghiale, CIBorghi d’ Italia, GustandOffida, Mangialonga Picena, Sagra del Chichi Ripieno and Sagra dei Taccu. In September there’s the Offida Opera, an event dedicated to opera music.
