The Ristinge area, on the other hand, offers 3 main attractions, one of the best beaches on the island, Ristinge Klint, as well as the small village of Ristinge with its small harbor. Here you will also find one of the larger cottage areas of the island in a beautiful plantation, where you can have many wonderful nature experiences and where there is access to the approx.10 km long sandy beach, which attracts both families with children and nature lovers. If you follow the small path that leads to Ristinge Hale, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the sea towards Marstal on Ærø - here are also the small islands that exist between Langeland and Ærø.
Especially birdwatchers will be thrilled when they drive south from Ristinge towards Tryggelev Nor. Together with Nørreballe Nor, this is Denmark's nature reserve where breeding sea eagles have been observed in recent years - something that has not been seen in Denmark for more than 100 years.
