The fabulous, 5km-long Meia Praia beach is a few minutes’ drive (and is also walkable) from the villa.

In addition, the dramatic scenery of the west coast is within easy reach by car.

The town of Lagos is full of character with its narrow streets and many restaurants serving fresh fish and other seafood. Children are welcome everywhere and there are many activities on offer for young and old, including dolphin watching and grotto trips, mountain biking & various water sports as well as a number of top-class golf courses (including Palmares, Penina, and Boavista – all within 10-15 minutes drive from the villa). A little further afield (approximately 30 minutes drive are water parks and the very popular’ Zoomarine’).

For golfers, the villa is situated just a few minutes’ drive from the Palmares course and 10 minutes’ drive from Boavista. Within a 25-minute drive are the courses at Penina and Morgado.

Please note that the area in which this property is located has strict regulations regarding noise disturbance.
Loud noise is not permitted between 23:00-08:00, which means that this property is more suited to guests who are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and is NOT suitable for guests who like to party late, festivalgoers, etc.

    “We had a really enjoyable stay at this villa. It is superbly well-equipped and comfortable and the air conditioning in the bedrooms is both quiet and effective for a good night's sleep. We were a party of seven adults so it was great to have so much space and different areas to relax. The TV and wifi worked well throughout our stay. There is a small orchard area with the property and we were able to use fresh lemons and oranges from the trees. The pool area is lovely although a little more shade around the pool would be beneficial during the hottest part of the day. We didn't find the Big Green BBQ quite as easy to use as expected - we found it difficult to light - but it was very effective once fired up. The only problem we had was that the security safe in the master bedroom failed on the last day of our holiday causing a bit of anxiety as travel documents etc were locked in there: because it was a busy changeover day, this took longer to resolve than we would have liked which impacted the last day of our break. The villa is walkable into Lagos centre although the roads are very narrow with poor visibility in places and we did not attempt to walk back at night. Taxis are very affordable though - we never paid more than 7 euros for a mini-bus type taxi.”
