From the terrace of this traditional house, which is part of a very small hamlet in the Cevennes, you can enjoy a great mountain view. There is a great variety of sites and monuments to discover and all kinds of activities for everyone: excursions on foot, on a saddled donkey or horse or by mountain bike, swimming, climbing, canyoning or gold panning. Bonnevaux and its hamlets have managed to preserve their authentic and typical Cévennes character over the years, with slate walls, paved paths and terraced landscapes. The village is considered a symbol of the Cévennes and consequently adorns the cover of many books. Its church is one of the most beautiful in the valley of the Cèze and the Cevennes.

    “Qua faciliteiten was alles aanwezig, top! Tot aan een vaatwasser toe. Een ruim en authentiek huis in de Cevennen. Ik zou hier vooral heen gaan als je op een rustige plek vakantie wilt vieren en niet van plan bent om veel te ondernemen.     “Kleines Haus, alles vorhanden (Geschirrspüler, Kühl-Gefrierkombi, Waschmaschine, 4-Flamm-Herd mit Backofen, Fernseher Satellit), alles sauber und neu. Obergeschoss, Schlafzimmer und Dusche sehr tiefe Deckenbalken, Terrasse Morgensonne und tagsüber Sonne, absolut ruhig. Gebäudeensemble gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wanderwege sind Bergpfade direkt hinter dem Haus oder durch das "Dorf". Es liegt nicht "in the middle of nowhere" sondern "at the end of nowhere".     “Ein wunderschönes altes Haus mit dem Flair des Bergdorfes. Die Aufteilung und die Lage der Fenster ist dem alten Grundriss entsprechend optimal gelöst. Einen Kaminofen hätten wir uns gewünscht.”

    “Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist optimal. Im rustikalen Häuschen ist jeglicher Komfort vorhanden von Dusche, Gasherd, großer Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine (für bequeme) und Sat-Fernseher, mit allen Sendern aus Europa. Lauschiger Sitzplatz mit regelmäßigem Katzenbesuch. Die Besitzerin ist sehr zuvorkommend.”
