This beautiful holiday home for 5 people is located on the Ijsselmeer in the town of Wijdenes. The Apple House owes its name to the many apple trees on the property. The holiday home is cosily furnished and fully equipped. The house has two bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a bunk bed and an extra bed.

Around the house you can relax on the adjoining terrace, which you can reach through the French doors in the living room. Here you can enjoy the panoramic view and nature from the sun loungers that are available at the house.

From the holiday home, you can visit the historic cities of Hoorn and Enkhuizen. These cities are 11 kilometres away. Hoorn is known for its many old monuments and canals around the centre. The holiday home is also only 30 km from the world-famous harbour towns of Edam and Volendam. The area is ideal for exploring by bike. It is wonderful to cycle along the dyke with an unobstructed view of the water. A small beach is not far away and the water is relatively shallow, making it suitable for children. Worth a special mention is the recently opened Marker Wadden (2018), a beautiful nature project in the Markermeer. The Marker Wadden, which consists of 5 islands, can only be reached by boat. There are observation towers in several places, including the 12-metre-high "Steltloper", 12 km of hiking trails and long beaches with shallow water. A must for birdwatchers.
