Large vacation home nestled in the nature of the Drôme des Collines, 400 m from the center of the charming village of Chamaret and 4.5 km from the mountain village of Grignan, known especially for its Renaissance castle. The accommodation is located on a tree-rich and 5,000 m² property and is the ideal base for a great vacation in the open air. Bright rooms, wooden beams and a Provençal-style kitchen contribute to a pleasant living ambience. A nice place to stay is the spacious terrace on the upper floor, from which you have a beautiful wide view of the surrounding nature. Hills covered with olive trees, lavender fields, vineyards, clear rivers and the mountain villages in the Baronnies Regional Nature Park help draw the picture of the Drôme Provençale. Visit Nyons (25 km) to stroll through its popular farmers' market. The Nyonsoleïado adventure pool and Le Sagittaire amusement park (30 minutes) are fun for young and old, or take your family to the crocodile farm in Pierrelatte (21 km). From the house, paths and trails invite you to go hiking and mountain biking, and at Lamotte-du-Rhône you can choose from various water sports activities. 36 km away, the gorges of the Ardèche invite you for a canoe trip, and in Grignan you can visit the castle once inhabited by Madame de Sévigné. Grignan also has a miniature village with nativity scenes depicting Provençal village life at the beginning of the 20th century. The grotto of Rochecourbière is also worth a visit. Larger cities in the region are Valréas (10 km), Montélimar (31 km), Orange (33 km) and Avignon (70 km).
