It is only 3 km from this vacation home to Västervik. The house is situated on a lakefront property with a fantastic view of Lake Bråten. At the lake you have your own bathing jetty and a boat that you can borrow during your stay. The property where the house is located and it is beautifully situated, because the property leads directly to the lake. At the house there is a spacious terrace. On the lower floor there is the living room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom. Upstairs there is another toilet and two bedrooms. On the premises there is also an outbuilding with another bedroom.
Here you will stay close to many attractions and activities in Småland. Within reasonable distance for a day trip you will find for example Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby, so also Astrid Lindgren's children's home Näs is located. Västervik, just a few kilometers away, offers a good selection of stores, restaurants and other services. There are also beautiful sea baths and a heated pool at Lysingsbaden.
A little further south is historic Kalmar, with a pretty Renaissance castle and a lovely old town. From here a bridge leads to the picturesque island of Öland.
