THE FARMHOUSE This is a classic stone Tuscan farmhouse that dates back to the XIX century. It has been fully and authentically restored, using original materials such as local stones and chestnut wood. The location of the property, wich extends over 3 hectars, offers magnificent views of the Tuscan hills and to the front of the Tyrrhenian coast stretching as far as Corsica Island. The sun drenched olive groves, the smell of the wild time and herbs in the summer, the clusters of wild flowers in the spring, the clear unpolluted air, the silence, make this little corner of Tuscany unique. The farmhouse "Le Ligoracce" gives you the chance to naturally experience country life style in a totally immersive way, among genuine sounds and fragrances

LIFE STYLE Trekking, Mountain Bike, Buddhism and more...in and around Castellina! Bring your mountain bike if you are the sporty type, or enjoy new free roads among the fields on your motorbike, visit and enjoy birdwatching in the WWF protected natural area at the pictoresque Lake of S.Luce. Many of the villages, which are just a few minutes drive from the farmhouse, offer several places of interest: the famous Buddhist Centre of Pomaia for those who seek a place of great peace and spir-ituality, or, to refresh from a hot day at the beach, nothing better than the Casciana terme SPA! Bees, horses and wild nature Choose your favourite way to live the countryside: help with the “smielatura”, the collection of honey and try some of the scented honey for breakfast; watch our horses being groomed and pre-pared for a ride; discover wild orchids in the field around the farmhouse; watch the red sun set from our porch sipping a glass of wine; take up painting. Or simply watch the huge sky at night and myriads of stars and constellations.

    “Anfänglich waren wir über die schlechte Zufahrt zum Haus erschrocken und dass weder ein Fernsehr, noch eine Kaffeemaschine oder WLAN verfügbar waren aber nach wenigen Tagen stellten wir fest, dass wir auch ohne auskommen. Es war ein Platz der Ruhe, was wir sehr genossen haben.”
