Located just outside Bad Hofgastein, the accommodation is ideal for guests seeking tranquility or for families with small children. The Grußberggut is far away from the distractions of everyday life, yet only a walk of 15-20 minutes or a 5-minute drive from the centre of Bad Hofgastein.

Description
The Grußberggut is a managed farm offering three apartments and a double room with a total capacity of 2 to 6 persons. All apartments and rooms have separate living and sleeping areas, some apartments have two separate bedrooms. The open kitchen diners are modern and newly furnished with dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. The corner benches invite you to enjoy a convivial meal and the comfortable sofas are perfect to cosy up and watch TV. All apartments and rooms have balcony access; Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. The beautiful farm is also home to animals and pets. Especially the young guests will gush over cows, pigs, dogs and cats who like to be petted. All dishes are homemade with fresh produce from the farm’s own grounds, including milk and all kinds of dairy products, liquors, juices and jams. At this point you are cordially invited to book a breakfast with your apartment or room to get a small sample of all the delicacies! As a premium partner of the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein, the Grußberggut offers all guests free use of the famous thermal bath during their stay!

Summer in Gastein
From the centre of Bad Hofgastein you can enjoy a leisurely hike to the alpine hut of the Grußberggut. The two-hour tour leads through Gastein’s forests via the Kronwald-Güterweg and the Annencafe. In summer, the hut is also a venue for the alpine classic concerts featuring the Hofgasteiner Kurorchester, a must-do experience for mountain and culture enthusiasts!

Winter in Gastein
The accommodation is a 10-minute drive from the Schlossbergalm cable car which takes you directly to Gastein’s largest combined ski area Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel. The winter sports paradise offers a wide range of winter sports activities, from classic skiing to snowshoeing and ice stock sports.
