Apartment in Umag with Private Parking and Garden View

Villa Alpa is located in the Umag-Punta area which is very popular with tourists. The area is quiet but still central. Close to the tennis courts where the renowned Umag Open Croatia ATP tennis tournament has been taking place for years. The accommodation is located in the tourist area of ​​Umag preferred by tourists, due to the variety of beaches and the coast surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation rich in plants of different species of evergreen shrubs, pines and cypresses. The beach and bathing facilities just 400 meters away can be easily reached on foot in a few minutes. The beaches are varied for all tastes: sandy, natural rocky, with concrete or pebble plates and with vegetation and trees near the coast, just walk a few hundred meters to choose the type of beach you prefer.

The house is located on the 730 sqm plot with a small garden with games for children, free private parking in front of the house, a large terrace on the roof of the house equipped with deck chairs, umbrellas and two outdoor whirlpools each for 6 people (2x2 m) all available to guests of the house for shared use and free of charge. Reservation for use is required upon arrival for whirlpool baths (use is possible twice a day for one hour per apartment). The house offers 7 apartments for rent, one of which is for 2 people, 3 for 2 + 2 people and 3 for 4 + 2 people. For bicycles ask the owner for the cost and availability.

Apartment 6 is located on the first floor of the house. Furnished with care and love in a modern style to make you feel at home. It has two bedrooms with double beds (160x200), wardrobes, bedside tables and night lamps, bed linen provided (changed weekly), one of the bedrooms has a mirror and desk with chair. The complete bathroom with shower, toilet, sink with mirror and cabinet, hairdryer, bath towels two per person provided (changed weekly). The "open space" living area consists of the kitchen area equipped with oven, refrigerator with freezer area, electric stove with 4 ceramic glass hobs, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, smoke extractor hood, plates, and cutlery, pots, cooking utensils. The living area is equipped with a sofa bed for two people, a coffee table, dining table with 6 chairs, flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioner, exit to the covered terrace furnished with table and chairs (6sqm), garden view and parking. free Wi-Fi internet connection available.

For those who love the gym, outdoor gym equipment is available for free on the seafront. The nearest beach at 400 m, the grocery store at 800 m, the restaurant at 500 m, bar and newsagent at 150 m. Only 400 m away is the station of the tourist train that leaves from the tourist village of Katoro and along the coast arrives in the center of Umag and vice versa. The center of Umag can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or can be reached by tourist train.

In the center of Umag to visit the museum, the aquarium, the cathedral, a walk along the famous Umag Dam is recommended, to explore the narrow and interesting alleys of the historic center of Umag, or visit the stalls and for the delight of children the playground on the seafront. To buy a larger quantity of food it is better to walk a few kilometers to the larger and more convenient supermarkets such as Lidl, Spar, Kaufland or Plodine.
Nearby there are various leisure possibilities: tennis courts, the Adriatic Golf Club with 18 holes, horse riding, water sports, night clubs, adrenaline park, mini-golf course, fishing. It is also possible to take various organized trips by boat or by bus. The area is full of renowned restaurants, simple restaurants, pizzerias, fast food restaurants, bars. We recommend visiting the Istrian hinterland for days off the beach or to spend the evenings. Very interesting is the artists' village Grožnjan, Motovun the typical medieval town located on a hill and known for the film festival which takes place every year at the end of July, the village of Livade is very well known for its white truffle. For cave lovers to visit the Baredine cave. Don't miss the chance to visit Hum, the smallest city in the world just 60 km from Umag. Also interesting are the places on the coast such as the NP Brijuni, Pula, Rovinj and Poreč. Organize various fish picnic boat trips during which you will have the opportunity to visit Rovinj and Poreč or Novigrad. The day trip by hydrofoil to Venice (if possible due to COVID). To visit the Istralandia water park 20 km from Umag to the delight of children and the Dinopark in Vrsar, fun is guaranteed there. For gourmets various possibilities of tasting wines, cheeses, olive oil, typical Istrian ham and much more. For organized trips, we recommend the Trevitours agency which, after a telephone consultation or with the owner, also brings the tickets to your home.

    “Alles in allem hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub, da uns die Gegend und das Wetter sehr gefallen hat. Wenn man sich nicht viel in der Wohnung aufhält dann ist es auch alles sehr schön. Positiv: Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super und das Personal war sehr freundlich und kümmert en sich um jedes Problem Negativ: Das Lattenrost meines Bettes durfte ich mehrfach wieder zusammen bauen. Es waren Ameisen jeden Tag im Wohnzimmer und die Couch im Wohnzimmer müsste man austauschen, da sie sehr unbequem und notdürftig mit Klebeband repariert wurde. Die Backofentür wurde mit Kleber repariert. Am schlimmsten aber war der Spülkasten an der Toilette. Er funktionierte nicht richtig. Der Wasserdruck war so gering, dass leider nichts damit weggespült wurde.”
