Welcome to our holiday house! Please note that new photos after refurbishment will be available after 15. June 2023.

 

Enjoy being free just 50m away from the beach. You can lay on

the beach all day, or just take a swim and return to enjoy your own terrace

with a garden view. Being so close has its advantages - no need to pack for a

beach stay.

 

There are 2 separate apartments available for rent: each about 70 square meters large. Each includes 2 bedrooms (each with double bed), a kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a terrace, patio furniture is also available.

Furthermore, outside there is an outdoor shower with a large garden, and a parking place in the courtyard.

 

The apartments have all the amenities you need for family

holiday.

 

There is also a trampoline in the garden for the kids to enjoy.

 

 

Vir is known for its settlement of weekend cottages and offers

all the prerequisites for a quiet and enjoyable family holiday. Guests will

find beautiful sandy and pebbly beaches, crystal clear sea water, a rich array

of local food and water sports, v.a. Windsurfing. We recommend a walk to the

top of the island, Bandira (112 m), from where you have a wonderful

overview of Vir, the surrounding islands and the Velebit mountains. The

summer heat is mitigated by frequent wind. Traditionally, the St. John's Day

(29 August), also the day of the municipality Vir, is celebrated with a big

folk festival.

 

Free time activities:

 

Fishing, mini golf, cycling, horseback riding, swimming,

shopping, surfing, diving, tennis, hiking and water skiing.

 

The island of Vir is about 25 km from the port city of Zadar and

can be reached via a bridge. Nearby there are the national parks: Kornati,

Paklenica, Plitvice Lakes and the Krka Waterfalls, all of those are highly

recommended for a day trip.

 

You can expect crystal-clear water, fresh sea air and mostly

natural beaches.

One of the highlights of the apartment is your own terrace with garden furniture. You can spend all day enjoying the sun or watching stars at night.
The house has a beautiful garden with olive trees and fig trees. You can eat the figs and grapes from the garden
You can also prepare a barbecue in the garden.

Parking is free and available in the yard next to the house.
Travel bed for mall children can be available at request.
Quads, jet skis, bikes and boats can be rented from a nearby provider.

The beach is just 50m away. You can relax, have a drink or have an ice cream at a beach bar nearby.

The apartment is very close to supermarkets, bakery, cafes and restaurants, but far enough to have a quiet stay.

The location of the apartment is ideal for exploring Zadar and Nin area. Town centre is 1 km away. Nin is just 10 km away with ancient ruins and great restaurants.
Excursions are available to Kornati and Plitvice national parks.

    “Super Beschreibung des Weges - Leicht zu finden - toller Parkplatz am Grundstück!
    Begrüssung herzlich mit Schnaps, Mineral und Kaffee - Vermieter sehr bemüht.
    Wunderschöner ruhiger Garten zum Seele baumeln lassen! Feigen, Oliven und Birnenbäume als Schattenspender, riesige Terrasse od. Balkon mit Hollywoodschaukel und Liegen, Markise und nett mit Blumen gedeckter Gartentisch mit gemütlichen Sesseln.
    Zweckmässig und nett eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit Klimaanlage im Wohnbereich. Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und grosser Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach.
    Wenn man den Fuss aus dem Garten auf die Strasse setzt und rechts blickt - blitzt einem schon das Meer entgegen! Dreimal Umfallen und man ist am Strand! Sehr gut für Leute die nicht den ganzen Tag am Strand verbringen möchten (wir sind ins Wasser und haben es uns auf unserer Terrasse gemütlich gemacht) - SEHR ZUM EMPFEHLEN!
    Was auch Super ist, ist eine Dusche im Aussenbereich - nach dem Baden im Meer toll um sich das Salz abzuduschen.
    Einkaufsmöglichkeit: Grosser Kozum ca 500 m, Kleiner Markt ca. 50 m (alle Km zum finden), Gemüsestände nach Brücke alle 500 m (sehr zum empfehlen).
    Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch auf der Insel Vir bei der Fam. Crenko!”

    “Woning staat in een centraal deel van het Wallisdal, met daardoor veel mogelijkheden tot uitstapjes en wandeltochten.
    Voldoende ingericht voor een prettig verblijf!”
