In spring, summer and autumn, the hiking and biking trails run right outside the door, and in winter, miles of groomed cross-country ski trails lure you here. The fishing opportunities here are many: drive inland a bit and discover all the great fishing opportunities. Åstaelva is only 20 minutes by car from the cottage, where there is a good opportunity to catch trout or Kroksjøen and Sjusjøvannet are also easy to reach fishing spots. Furthermore, Lillehammer is only half an hour's drive away, where you can experience the fantastic open-air museum Maihaugen, the Olympic Museum, Hunderfossen Family Park and Lilleputthammer.
