Holiday or home office in retro style in Brissago
This beautiful 2-room flat, in 70s retro style, is situated slightly above the village centre of Brissago. The flat has a spectacular view and offers everything for everyday living comfort to enjoy carefree holiday or home office days in Ticino. Your dream holiday or home office stay is available from Fr. 57,--/day and person * (* min. 2 occupancy, prices vary depending on season)

Living room
The living room is equipped with a modern 55" LED TV and has 240 TV channels. The high-speed internet has a bandwidth of 600 Mbit/s internet (upload: 60 Mbit/s). A comfortable sofa as well as a bed that has been converted into a sofa provide sufficient seating. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be enjoyed at the round marble table.

Balcony
Directly from the living room you can access the large balcony, which offers a spectacular panoramic view of Brissago, the Isola di Brissago and Lake Maggiore. The view is north-east, which means that the sun shines on the balcony from early morning until late afternoon. This is an advantage, especially in the height of summer, because you can sit out until late in the evening when the temperatures are mild and the heat is more bearable. Enjoy the view and the evening lights of Brissago, Ascona, Locarno. Two sun loungers invite you to linger in comfort. A garden table with four seats is available.

Kitchen
The fully equipped kitchen (crockery, cutlery, pans, dishwasher, oven, 3 hotplates etc.) also offers a Nespresso coffee machine (capsules), a milk frother, a tea maker and a toaster.

Bedroom
The cosily furnished bedroom offers space for two persons in the 1.80m wide bed (2 mattresses) and enough storage space in the medium-sized wardrobe for longer stays. The balcony is also directly accessible from the bedroom.

Bathroom
All sanitary facilities are in mint condition, although the retro chic is most recognisable here. The bathroom is equipped with a large bathtub/shower, a toilet, a bidet, a washbasin and a mirrored cabinet (storage space). A hairdryer is available for use.

Laundry / Cleaning
Bed linen, towels and kitchen linen per person/week are provided on a compulsory basis. The final cleaning is done by a professional cleaning agency for the visitors.

Residence DaMoSa
In a perfect location, the newly renovated Residence DaMoSa offers a spectacular panoramic view of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. An indoor pool, sauna and table tennis table are available for shared use. A public car park (46°07'03.5 "N 8°42'24.0 "E) is a 5-minute walk (150m) from the residence. It is allowed to unload luggage in front of the residence.

Brissago and surroundings
The village centre is a few minutes walk (500 metres, 5-10 min. depending on fitness level) down a flight of stairs and offers everything you need for your stay (groceries, pharmacy, household goods, bank) in Brissago. On the beautifully developed lake promenade of Brissago, several restaurants, pizzerias and a gelateria invite you to linger. We recommend making a reservation in the high season, as the restaurants are quickly booked up.

The boat company docks on the same lake promenade and calls at various destinations such as Ascona, Locarno or the two picturesque Italian towns of Luino and Cannobio with their famous markets (Luino = Wed., Cannobio = Sun.).

In summer, the beach of Brissago, which is lapped by the waves of Lake Maggiore, invites you to relax and unwind. A car park is available in the spacious area. A swimming pool, a restaurant, an entertainment area, an ice-cream parlour and a cocktail bar pamper the sun worshippers. Sun loungers and parasols are available for a fee. Swimming lessons for the little ones or sporting activities, are offered in full safety.

Other beautiful excursion destinations such as the "Valle Maggia, Valle Bavona, Valle Verzasca, Centovalle" etc. can be reached in a few minutes by car or by public transport. Why go far when the good things are so close. Explore the high trail above Brissago and enjoy the spectacular views.

How to get there
Brissago can be reached from Zurich in 2 1/2 hours by car or in just under 4 hours by public transport. Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is 1 1/2 hours away by car.

Sauna: according to consumption - 30 minutes approx. CHF 7.50 (as of spring 2022)

    “Positiv: If you like to enjoy a wonderful week in the south of Switzerland ,it would be here in this condo .
    We marveled at the most beautiful view onto the lake Lago Maggiore from the balcony. From here we were able to see the passenger boats come and go. We found the one bedroom apartment very clean and equipped with things we never expected to find .There was a toaster ,a necresso coffeemaker with lots of capsules ,dishes of good quality and on top of it all ,a milk frother . We also welcomed the fact of finding dish soap ,some paper towels and spices .In the living room there was a huge flat screen TV with uncountable channels ( Netflix ,You tube and so,so many more) .
    The beds were comfortable .Because of the warm temperatures our boys (16 and 19 ) enjoyed the opportunity to sleep on the sunchairs located on the balcony.
    During the day we lowered the automated shades over the outdoor space in order to keep the apartment on the cooler side.
    We choose public transportation ( boat or bus ) to Brissago. There are a few dozen steps that took us about 10 minutes to get to the condo.
    Sara ,our host ,always responded to our questions very quickly .She was very .very kind and so accommodating.
    We cannot wait to come back ! Restaurant: Pizzaria Gabietta - Great place with lots of shade and amazing views to the Lake . Ausflüge: Locarno - Piazza Grande”

    “Positiv: Sehr schöne Lage und nette Vermieterin. Das Schwimmbad im Haus war auch toll. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und erholsam und die Hauptstrasse ist in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar.”
