Rijeka was the European Capital of Culture 2020 and has a variety of historical buildings, interesting museums and cultural events to offer you.

Visit the nearby famous Opatija and the entire Opatija Riviera, as well as the island of Krk, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge. On the island you can also explore great beaches and spend whole day on the water.

Also plan hiking trips to the nearby U?ka Nature Park. Climb the hills and peaks of the mountain of the same name and enjoy excellent views of the coast, the sea and the hinterland.
