There are very good bike paths on Öland, where you can basically go around the whole island without encountering many cars. In close proximity are Mörbylånga and Färjestaden with a great selection of restaurants, stores and other services. Also the beach and shallow water invite families to swim, play and sunbathe and let you spend many pleasurable hours.
Öland offers a wide range of attractions such as Alvaret, which stretches for miles over the peculiar nature, Ottenby bird watching station, Ölands Animal and Amusement Park and Eketorp Castle.
