Beautiful apartment house "Chalet Smaragd". In the district of Gydisdorf, 100 m from the centre, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, south facing position. For shared use: natural pond. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer. Linen change weekly. In Winter: please take snow chains. Communal covered parking. Shopping centre 150 m, restaurant, bar, bicycle rental 100 m, 2 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Firstbahn" 100 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 500 m, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 400 m. Golf course (9 hole) 1.5 km, tennis 1 km, minigolf 200 m, sports centre 400 m, mountain railway 500 m, gondola lift 100 m, ski rental 200 m, ski bus stop 100 m, cross country ski track 1 km, children's playground 400 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Grindelwald. Additional accommodations can be booked. Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected.

    “Ideal für 2 Personen, hochwertige, moderne Ausstattung und ausreichend Platz in den Schränken. Eine Wohnung mit Wohlfühlcharakter. Die Terrasse konnten wir wegen des Winterwetters nur eingeschränkt nutzen, haben dafür die unmittelbare Nähe zur Firstbahn (Einstieg ins Skigebiet) genossen.”

    “This is a superior apartment, well-designed, attractively- furnished in a modern style in a beautiful situation furnished with every kitchen convenience, constant hot water, spotlessly clean and with superb views of the Wetterhorn, Mattenberg and Eiger mountains from the many large doors/windows, which lead onto a garden patio (plenty of garden furniture, so an apartment to be used either in summer or winter)) - as opposed to just a verandah. The apartment house itself, is also very clean and well-furnished, being only a few years old has every convenience including a parkhouse in the basement and a lift to all floors.
    The position of the flat is also good - 5 minute walk to Firstbahn and the ski-bus stop and right in the heart of the village, yet the apartement house is situated in a quiet small street.
    The Interhome office is close by and their representative could not have been more friendly or helpful. This was our first stay in this apartment and we hope to return.”

    “Eine ganz entzückende Wohnung zum Rundumwohlfühlen mit komfortabler Ausstattung und modernem Ambiente. Sehr gute, luftige Aufteilung mit einer großzügigen Fensterfront mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Grindelwaldgletscher. Die heimelige Atmosphäre setzt sich mit ausgesprochen gemütlichen Möbeln auch auf der Sonnenterrasse fort. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge in der zauberhaften Umgebung - auf das Auto kann durchaus verzichtet werden, das ist in der hauseigenen, mit Kfz-Aufzug zugänglichen Tiefgarage gut aufgehoben. Rundum gelungene Ferien!”

    “Sehr gut geschnittene und hochwertig ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Ruhige und dennoch zentrale Lage in Grindelwald. Besonders schön die Terrasse mit Bergpanorama sowie Steingarten und Teich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ausstattung ließ es an nichts mangeln. Waschmaschine und Trockner direkt neben der Ferienwohnung einfach und praktisch nutzbar.”
