Nestled in a magnificent mountain landscape, around 20 kilometres inland from the sandy beaches of the Costa del Sol, this wonderful property offers the best of all worlds.

An attractive, modern villa with beautiful bedrooms, a lovely pool, a jacuzzi and wonderful roof terraces, it is a fabulous choice for anyone looking to enjoy a different side of enchanting Andalusia. A stunning and peaceful mountain setting like this, so close to the fabulous beaches and golf courses of the Costa del Sol and yet outside the more densely populated areas, is hard to resist. Perched on a hillside between the iconic whitewashed towns of Canillas de Albaida and Cómpeta, this gem of a property is a perfect base for exploring this delightful region. This impressive villa has been newly built and equipped with ultra-modern facilities. It has been designed to maximise the panoramic views from each of its three floors with huge floor-to-ceiling patio doors and stunning roof terraces. To the front in a pretty lawned garden is the beautiful pool with an inviting hot tub. The interior has honey-coloured limestone floors and crisp white walls, softened by patterned Moroccan rugs, colourful cushions and carefully selected artwork. The open-plan lounge is bright and airy and features a comfortable L-shaped sofa and a refectory-style table with seating for ten, the perfect setting for a lively family gathering. The elegant monochrome kitchen is well equipped and fully fitted, complete with breakfast bar and stools.

To the rear of the house is an outdoor BBQ kitchen with a shaded dining area for more relaxed al fresco dining. The modern bedrooms are furnished with splashes of colour. The wonderful Arabian-style roof terrace is furnished with traditional Moroccan banquettes laden with cushions and is an idyllic spot for stargazing or admiring the sunset after dinner.

Andalusia's ancient pueblos blancos (white towns) are rightly renowned for their dazzling white architecture, picturesque cobbled streets and shady plazas, and Canillas de Albaida and Competa are no exception. These pretty villages offer a range of cafés, restaurants and shops and are within easy reach of the villa. The neighbouring Sierra de Tejeda is a national park famous for its excellent hiking trails, cycling routes and wildlife spotting, while the villa is still only half an hour's drive from the sea should you be craving some sand between your toes.

Please note that some bedrooms are accessed via the external spiral staircase. We ask that extra care is taken and children must be supervised at all times. This may not be suitable for all guests.
