Lake Ånimmen with the island of Henriksholm is part of the Dalsland Canal lake system together with Lake Ärr. Explore the hilly Sörknatten nature reserve. Here, the altitude varies between 50 and 142 metres above sea level. The almost bare mountain ridges are often called "knattar" in Swedish. Did you know that a large part of the film Ronja Rövardotter was shot around Mount Sörknatten? This is where she uttered her famous spring cry. Lake Vänern is of course also ideal for a full-day excursion.
