This beautiful, newly renovated property is located in a quiet Istrian village, just a short drive from the coast of Rovinj. The property has been lovingly renovated and offers all the benefits of modern living: 6 en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and WiFi internet. The garden is fully fenced and offers privacy around the pool. Outside there is also a large covered dining and living area with an outdoor kitchen. The natural stone barbecue also has a bread oven and pizza oven. The property consists of two buildings in the same garden. In one there is a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area - ideal if a couple needs more privacy. The large building has 4 bedrooms, a kitchen and a large living room with fireplace. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. The garden has an irrigation system so that the grass is always nice and green. The beach in Lim Fjord is only a short drive away (5 km) and a good restaurant is in the immediate vicinity.
In 2019, Villa Moncalvo was awarded the EcoDomus certificate, which guarantees all guests that they have rented an environmentally friendly villa. EcoDomus is a programme of the Istria County Tourism Management Department, which aims to increase social and environmental responsibility in tourism, and the villa is located in the old village of Gola, near the picturesque old town of Bale. The town of Bale, built entirely of stone, embodies Istrian tradition, which, according to archaeological research, has existed since Roman times. The narrowest part of the district of Bale is located at the 45th parallel, which means that the district is ideally positioned in relation to the planet: halfway between the equator and the North Pole. The town has an average of 2400 hours of sunshine per year, which attracts tourists. There are also very good restaurants here. The town of Rovinj is only a short drive away (15 km). Rovinj is the most romantic place in the Mediterranean! The town of Rovinj is the right destination for anyone looking for the sentimental atmosphere of a time that has passed forever.
Here you can find real romance of the Mediterranean: romantic life in the town that has developed on the island and the protected areas that have created the crowded houses, narrow streets and small squares, untouched by modern urbanism. Lim Fjord, one of the most beautiful natural treasures in Istria, with excellent fish restaurants and a beautiful beach, is 10 kilometres away from the villa.
