The village of Rakotule is located in the northern part of Istria, in close proximity to the towns of Pore and Motovun. The name of the village is also of Celtic origin and comes from the word Monton, which means "town in the hills". In addition to the beautiful views from the hills, you can also enjoy the truffle and wine tasting for which this area is so famous. Porec is a popular summer holiday resort on the coast of the Istrian peninsula in western Croatia. In the historic old town, the complex of the Euphrasian Basilica from the 6th century is famous for its Byzantine mosaics. The coast to the north and south of the town offers marinas and beaches with water sports facilities.
