This holiday home is located on one level just a few minutes' walk from Lake Kummerow and a beautiful bathing area, close to the Kummerow castle complex. The small, cosy holiday bungalow for 2 people stands on a 400 sqm fenced plot. It was renovated in 2022 and is equipped with a living room (armchair, coffee table, TV, radio/CD), a completely redesigned open-plan kitchen area (fridge-freezer, microwave, induction hob, mini oven, hot air fryer, various small kitchen appliances), a sleeping cabin with double bed (Attention: Access to the bed is only possible from the front!) and bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer. Various cosy seating areas are available on the property and in front of the bungalow, depending on the position of the sun and the weather. There is also a car park and a storage room for bicycles. On cold days you can heat with an oil radiator. Final cleaning and water consumption are included in the total price. Please bring your own towels; bed linen can be rented for a fee. To be paid on site: Energy according to consumption, bed linen (on request). Pets are not allowed in this accommodation.
The small, rural village of Kummerow is located directly on the eponymous Lake Kummerow; the fourth largest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in the middle of the picturesque landscape of Mecklenburg Switzerland. The region is characterised by rolling hills with wonderful views and is ideal for hiking, cycling and water sports. Boat and canoe trips as well as fishing trips on the lake or the neighbouring Peene are just as worthwhile as excursions to the Reuterstadt Stavenhagen, to Malchin or to the Dargun monastery and castle complex. For the little ones, Lake Kummerow with its shallow shore and beautiful sandy beach offers plenty of fun and swimming. There is a bistro and a small café at the harbour. Art lovers are invited to visit the imposing baroque Kummerow Castle, which has been carefully restored after years of vacancy, with an extraordinary photographic art exhibition.
