In the centre of the village, in a quiet location not far from the village pond, stands the Alte Schmiede, a historic granary that has been carefully renovated with great attention to detail as a multi-family house. The tastefully furnished holiday apartment for up to 4 adults and 1 baby is located on the ground floor. The salt lake with bathing area and fishing opportunities (fishing licences available on request from the owner), the restaurant and the new playground are just a few steps away.

The approx. 80 square metre non-smoking apartment has a large living room (upholstered furniture, flat-screen TV) with an open, fully equipped kitchen (dining table, electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, various small kitchen appliances), two bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x rollaway bed), a large bathroom (shower, bath, WC) and a hallway. The apartment is centrally heated and is equipped with insect screens on the windows. There are also parking spaces, bicycle storage facilities and a furnished seating area with barbecue in front of the house.

The total price includes final cleaning, energy and water costs as well as bed linen and towels. One dog up to a height of 40 cm is permitted in this property. Multiple animals require the owner's consent before booking.

Lapitz, a small district of the municipality of Kuckssee, is idyllically situated in a hilly, wooded and lake-rich region of the Mecklenburg Lake District, between the district town of Neubrandenburg (approx. 12 km) and the small town of Penzlin (approx. 6 km). The salt lake right next to the village is ideal for swimming and fishing (fishing licences can be purchased in the village), and there are other lakes in the surrounding area, including the Zieskensee (approx. 2.3 km) with a beautiful bathing area, which can be explored wonderfully by bike. In the old manor house, which has been restored in recent years, there is a restaurant with home-style cooking and a new children's playground right next to it.a bakery car comes to the village three times a week, further shopping facilities can be found in Penzlin, which is known above all for its medieval castle complex with the museum-like witches' cellar, many medieval events as well as the Slavic castle ramparts and St. Marine's Church. The four-gate town of Neubrandenburg, approx. 12 km away, offers numerous shopping opportunities, various restaurants, cafés and pubs as well as many cultural facilities and events. Particular attractions here include St Mary's Church with its new organ, home to the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the theatre and the Neubrandenburg art collection, which is famous beyond the borders of Mecklenburg as a concert church. Tourist highlights include the historic town wall with its four medieval gates and Lake Tollensesee, which borders directly on the town and offers several bathing opportunities, boat hire and passenger boat trips.
