The holiday apartment for up to 5 people is beautifully situated in the basement of the owner's house, just a few steps from Lake Fleesensee and the town forest. A restaurant is approx. 100 m away, shopping facilities are approx. 900 m. The centrally heated, approx. 70 sqm large and comfortably furnished non-smoking apartment has a separate entrance and insect screens on the windows. It was last renovated in 2020 and is equipped with a large living room (upholstered furniture, flat-screen TV, stereo system, CD and DVD player, dining table), open-plan kitchen (electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, various small kitchen appliances), two bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x double bed and 1 lounger), a bathroom (shower, WC, hairdryer) and a spacious hallway.There is also a furnished terrace, barbecue, bicycle storage facilities, cot and high chair on REQUEST, free Wi-Fi and a car park in front of the property.the total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, electricity and water. Please bring your own towels. To be paid on site: Spa tax, energy in case of above-average consumption (electric heating in summer). Pets are not allowed in this property.

The small town of Malchow is a tourist gem in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is also known as the island town, as the old town is surrounded by Lake Fleesensee and Lake Malchow, and the connection between the two parts of the town is made possible by an earth dam and a listed swing bridge, which opens several times a day for boat traffic. There are also passenger boat moorings, a harbour, restaurants, cafés and shopping facilities. Other attractions include the monastery church, the town mill, a large bathing beach, a summer toboggan run, a monkey forest and a riding stables just outside the town, boat and bicycle hire directly in the town and wellness, sports and golf facilities at the nearby holiday resort Land Fleesensee. Also worth a visit is the bear sanctuary in Stuer, approx. 16 km away, which is the largest bear sanctuary in Western Europe and is currently home to 14 brown bears that have been rescued from zoos, circuses and private holdings and can live here close to nature.
