This area of North Zealand is known for its beautiful, popular sandy beaches on the Kattegat, wonderful nature reserves and idyllic towns and cities. Visit the charming fishing village of Gilleleje, where you can enjoy concerts in the summer, or Fredensborg Castle, located on Lake Esrum. If you bring your bikes, the North Coast Route offers you great excursion destinations along the Danish Riviera.
