If you're drawn to a larger city, you can drive to Toulon in just 15 minutes. The French city with France's largest seaport on the Mediterranean will fascinate you with its large National Maritime Museum, which is located in the port of Toulon and exhibits maritime artifacts. Rugged limestone mountains form the backdrop to the city, and a cable car takes you up Mont Faron.
