On the smallest plot there is space for a 10 metre pool, a little grass and an orange-lemon tree. In the middle of the village of Ariany, standing wall to wall with neighbouring houses, the natural stone villa Ca Sa Madrina makes the most of its space! It extends both lengthways and upwards (the internal staircase is really steep!). The only concession is that cars have to be parked outside by the kerb. Whether you are relaxing on the three double deckchairs with canopies in the terrace area, gathering around the octagonal table on the first floor that catches the light like a sunflower, or climbing the spiral staircase to be as close to the terrace as possible, you are protected from prying eyes on all sides. The fantastic views over the roofs of the village to the Tramuntana, the small enclosed outdoor bathroom and the rustic outdoor dining area directly in front of the kitchen are further plus points that make the house an ideal holiday location for connoisseurs, especially happy among true Mallorcans.

Thanks to the extensive renovation and modernisation, Ca Sa Madrina has become a real design piece that you would hardly expect to find behind such old walls. These walls have been consistently integrated as decorative elements in the interior design, in the stylish TV corner and in the three guest rooms. Lovers of the white style will get their money's worth here. The walls were deliberately kept unadorned to emphasise the brightness and clarity of the interior. The high-gloss kitchen with its modern appliances also follows this concept, but is happy when guests take a pair of oranges from the tree outside and conjure up a splash of colour on the breakfast table. Two beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers (one downstairs, one upstairs) and the outdoor bathroom can also be used when the house is fully occupied. Downstairs is the best option for those who prefer to sleep on one mattress. The others can separate their beds upstairs. The sofa in the office has been designed as an alternative. From here, everyone can go out onto the balcony and the sunbathing lawn at any time, so the bedroom with direct access remains completely private.

From Ca Sa Madrina, drive via Santa Margalida where you can visit the Galmés i Ribot wine shop, which offers not only excellent wines but also a wide selection of local products, and then head up to the rougher north towards C to Picafort, Alcúdia and Pollença by car or mountain bike. Beach days at beaches such as Son Baulo and Muro can be combined with strolls behind the medieval town walls and along the seafront promenade of Port de Pollença, which stretches from Passeig Colom to the Albufereta nature reserve. The Serra del Cavall Bernat offers daring dirt tracks at sometimes breathtaking heights, but the Puig de sa Cobetera, the local mountain of Ariany, offers fantastic and absolutely safe views over the plain.

The completely renovated and stylish townhouse Ca Sa Madrina is located in the centre of small Ariany, which nevertheless has a bakery, a weekly farmers' market and two bars. From the upper deck, you can look out over the rooftops of your neighbours and see the Serra de Tramuntana. The popular beaches of Badia dAlcúdia and Playa de Muro as well as the lively Can Picafort are only about 20 km away, while the hiking area around Pollença is easily accessible via the Ma-13. Supermarkets, restaurants and wine cellars can be found in nearby Santa Margalida and Petra or in the medieval town of Sineu, 12 km away.
