The first impression is that this is a place that has retained the rural charm of its humble beginnings as a farmhouse. In the garden you are well sheltered from the wind, your privacy protected by a venerable stone wall. You can relax on the idyllic terrace. In summer, the vines provide shade while you sit on one of the picturesque wooden benches. The Mediterranean atmosphere is emphasised by a row of trees whose gnarled trunks rest against the outside of the building. In one corner is a small fountain with unique decorative taps and behind it the barbecue. A Buddha watches over this cosy little garden and radiates a pleasant feeling of distance from the world. There is an outdoor sofa and the pool area is behind a small wooden gate. The pool is surrounded by artificial turf. Small, but very pretty and full of little details such as a Mallorcan bell.

Inside the house, the features of a traditional yet modern finca have been retained. On the ground floor there is a large fireplace with a small cosy bench, a modern kitchen, a small kitchen bar and a large dining table to enjoy dinner. On the ground floor there is a bedroom and an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you will find three further bedrooms and another large bathroom. A narrow staircase leads to the upper floor. The original stone wall has been preserved.

In the small village of Costitx, just 3 kilometres away, you can go shopping every Saturday or stroll through the market at Plaça de la Mare de Déu and Plaça del Jardí. Costitx is also home to Mallorca's only observatory. We really recommend going there. The house is in an absolutely quiet location. The friendly owners live on the same property and will help you very quickly if you have any questions. As this villa is located right in the centre of the island, there are plenty of opportunities to go on a day trip. And as Mallorca is known for its ease of travelling, you can drive to some of Mallorca's most popular beaches, such as Es Penyo or Can Picafort, which are only 30 km away. Can Puri is a traditional, lovingly renovated villa between Sencelles and Costitx in the middle of a gentle hilly landscape. Right next to Villa Can Gelat, Can Puri offers absolute tranquillity and is only 4 minutes away from the small town of Costitx, where you will find a supermarket, bars, restaurants and a good bakery. The central location of the property makes it an ideal starting point for excursions to many of the island's beaches (Es Trenc, Son Serra de Marina and Arenal).
