After a very uncomplicated journey, we reach the modernised Villa Son Vado, which is located about 3 km from the gateway to Santa Margalida in an easterly direction, sloping down to the coast. Due to its two-storey construction, the graceful villa with its smooth plastered façade made of light sandy clay seems almost sacred. The green shutters seem to be reflected in the pool in front of the villa. The house is located in an enchanting rural area in a somewhat hilly neighbourhood, nestled between tall trees and a small slope. The word idyllic fits the context, especially as the area is still off the beaten tourist track and the nearest neighbour lives about 200 m away. The pool is set into a moulded sun terrace. Four kiwi-green deckchairs and sun loungers with shady parasols are available for our guests to relax and unwind after a refreshing dip in the pool. The pool terrace leads onto the covered terrace, which runs the entire length of the house and offers enough space for a large wooden dining table that can seat up to eight people. Due to the slight slope, the terrace is enclosed by a natural stone wall. Here you will also find an enclosed barbecue station so that nothing stands in the way of a relaxed BBQ.

There are double doors leading into the house. You have the option of entering the living room or directly into the spacious kitchen. The large living room is divided into a cosy sitting area with LCD TV and cosy fireplace and a dining area with a large table. A staircase leads from the living room to the bedrooms on the upper floor. Access to the eat-in kitchen is via a passageway with a wicker arch next to the dining area. There is an additional dining table for four people in front of a second fireplace. You can recognise the original state of the villa before the owner lovingly renovated it by the open fireplace in the old farmhouse kitchen, which was once the central living space for the whole family. Today we find a fully equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances such as a microwave, coffee machine, gas hob, dishwasher and much more. All things that make it an absolute pleasure to cook for yourself. Behind the kitchen is a pantry and one of the two bathrooms. The second bathroom, which serves both bedrooms, is located on the upper floor. The fact that the bathrooms are split over two floors is particularly practical, as it makes it possible to split the use of the bathrooms between two groups of friends, for example. Both bathrooms have a modern design with light-coloured tiles and either a shower with a glass partition or a bathtub. The thick ceramic rim forms a pretty Mallorcan contrast to the light-coloured design of the bathrooms. The two cosy bedrooms on the top floor are furnished with a double bed measuring 1.50 m and 1.60 x 2 m respectively. In the wardrobes you will find plenty of space for your holiday clothes, whether you have brought them with you or bought them at the local market or in one of the pretty little boutiques.

The well-kept Villa Son Vado is situated on a slightly elevated and hilly plot close to the country road that leads from Santa Margalida along the coast almost directly to Son Serra de Marina. In Son Serra de Marina, directly on the gleaming white sandy beach, you will find one of the most beautiful beach bars on the island of El Sol, which is worth a visit at any time of day. The beaches of Can Picafort and Son Baulo as well as other beautiful sandy beaches in the bay of Alcúdia are also within easy reach of the conveniently located villa. The authentic village of Santa Margalida, which is only 3 km from the villa, will delight you with its authentic charm and typical Mallorcan village character, which the village has retained. This is certainly one of the reasons why Santa Margalida is considered one of the most beautiful villages on the island. The villa is in an absolutely secluded location, 3 km from the gateway to the pretty village of Santa Margalida. Here you can go shopping and enjoy the real Mallorcan lifestyle. The beaches on the east coast with their excellent beach bars and restaurants are easily accessible by hire car.
