The exterior of Villa Ca Na Bisquerra is painted with smooth plaster in a soft apricot colour, has natural stone skirting boards and charming wooden shutters. It was built just a few years ago by its current owners and is beautifully decorated both inside and out. Despite its youth, the villa is designed in a traditional Mallorcan style that is distinctly warm and cosy, and is basically the ideal place for a family or group of friends to holiday together. The secluded villa is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden with lots of palm trees, so you can enjoy the rural surroundings as if it were your own private island, even though there are other villas in the neighbourhood. A small paved footpath leads from the house through the garden to the marvellous pool area. The pool is decorated with meandering mosaic tiles and is surrounded by a spacious lawn with eight sun loungers for relaxing. If required, three parasols are also available to protect you from the hot midday sun. Slightly away from the pool, but also in the middle of the landscaped garden, you will find the fully equipped, covered outdoor kitchen, which includes an open fireplace barbecue and a long dining table; this is our personal favourite thing about this very impressive villa. In addition to the barbecue, the kitchen also has a cooker with gas hob, plenty of cupboards for storing outdoor utensils and a large fridge for chilled drinks. This separate structure can be well protected from the sun and wind with little more than a few thin decorative curtains, which not only looks very striking, but is also incredibly practical. Along the front of the house stretches a wonderfully inviting covered terrace with many different seating options, either at one of the tables or on garden furniture with cheerful orange cushions all in chic polyrattan, inviting you to relax and unwind.

What is particularly impressive about the interior design is the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere made possible by the large open-plan living/dining area on the ground floor with a staircase leading up to the open gallery and the rooms on the upper floor. On the ground floor there is a cosy sofa set in front of an open fireplace where you can spend a relaxing evening in front of the TV. Right next to it is a huge dining table, which offers more than enough space for all fellow travellers. The kitchen area is visually separated from the rest of the room by a long counter with hand-painted tiles and a heavy wooden floorboard. Even on holiday, you can enjoy the full range of equipment including a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, cooker with gas hob and even a dishwasher - all the amenities you could wish for on the self-sufficient holiday you have chosen. There are also two bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom to share on the ground floor. Two further bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms are located on the upper floor behind the open gallery area. The cosy bedrooms have exposed wooden ceilings and plenty of storage space for the clothes you bring with you or take with you during your stay. All bathrooms are pleasantly decorated in a modern style; two of them have a bath with shower fitting and the third has a customised built-in shower. At the hospitable Villa Ca Na Bisquerra, everything is practical and uncomplicated, just the way you want your holiday to be, and this place offers the ideal ambience for such an experience.

Another plus point of the villa is its impressive location, quiet but only 150 metres from the road that connects Can Picafort and Santa Margalida. This means that this location offers good transport links as well as great potential for recreation and relaxation. Can Picafort and the nearest beach are only 7 minutes away by car. The diverse beaches along the Bay of Alcúdia, including Platja de Muro, Can Picafort and the quieter beaches between the towns, are quick and easy to reach if a dip in the pool isn't enough and you fancy a nice day at the beach. You'll probably want to head to Santa Margalida if you're interested in seeing one of the prettiest villages on the island and experiencing the authentic character of the real Mallorca. The traditional Villa Ca Na Bisquerra is located in the beautiful countryside between the charming little towns of Santa Margalida and Can Picafort. You can walk to both towns to buy groceries and other daily necessities, and each town has a farmers' market on different days of the week. The bay of Alcúdia with several kilometres of sandy beaches is only 5 km away by car.
