Around a handful of specially selected properties in our programme are characterised by their perfect location. Villa Tafira is undoubtedly one of them. Few other homes in our programme can boast such a magnificent secluded location and incredible views. It is a spectacular property, perched on its own little hill, surrounded by a huge park-like garden and a lush, rich tree population. There are cypresses, olive trees and baobabs everywhere. They exude a perfect Mediterranean flair and are surrounded by very well-tended lawns. These are terraced in places and divide the garden into several levels. This creates places of retreat. It creates freedom. And the incredible views all around are a real feast for the eyes. It is the perfect place to relax, as absolute tranquillity prevails here. The centrepiece of the large garden is a 12 x 5 m (solar-heated) pool. It is located approx. 30 metres from the house and can be reached via a small garden path. At one end of the pool is a small pool house, the walls of which are made of the same natural stone façade as the huge main house. The pool is surrounded by a large terrace with built-in stone benches, high-quality sun loungers and parasols. There are further terraces next to the house and opposite the garden. Some areas next to the house are covered and provide welcome shade in summer. But there are also plenty of quiet spots and places to relax in the natural, semi-shaded areas of the garden. This property is perfect for a larger group of travellers and still offers maximum privacy. Those swimming in the pool won't disturb those lazing on the terrace or those strolling in the garden.

The generous amount of space in the garden is also retained indoors, so you can spread out as you wish. The 400 m² house is luxuriously designed and features beautiful terracotta floors, white walls, exposed wooden beam ceilings and, at the same time, particularly high ceilings in combination with decorative wicker arches. Here, too, you will feel the freedom and retreat possibilities in an absolutely upscale living ambience. A total of six very stylishly designed double rooms (all 3 rooms on the first floor are air-conditioned) are available for restful nights and you can also enjoy a siesta or two in a relaxed atmosphere. The five available bathrooms are designed in typical Mallorcan style with beautiful furnishings and offer plenty of space for all guests. The house also has the luxury of an additional guest toilet. Six hairdryers are also available so you don't have to remember to pack yours in your suitcase and take it with you. In addition, there is a large, fully equipped kitchen with cooking island and an open-plan adjoining living and dining area with fireplace, which provides cosy warmth in the cooler winter months. Tasteful, partly antique furniture emphasises attractive accents and ensures maximum comfort. A large television and Wi-Fi internet connection are available for electronic entertainment and accessibility.

In addition to the excellent, attractive furnishings, we particularly appreciate the relaxing location in the countryside with views of the gentle surrounding hills that characterise this beautiful area in the east of the island. The weekly market in Artà takes place every Tuesday in the town centre and you shouldn't miss it!
Here you will find regional culinary specialities as well as beautiful Mallorcan handicrafts. There are also several attractive white sandy beaches not far from the villa, some of which are real insider tips. Villa Tafira is a top-class property. Covering an area of over 30,000 m², this exclusive property is situated in a marvellous secluded location amidst the green hills on the north-eastern peninsula of Artá. The small town itself with all its supermarkets, bars and restaurants can be reached by car in just a few minutes. The local natural sandy beaches (including Cala Torta and Cala Matzoc, see photos) are also not far away. These are considered the most beautiful beaches on Mallorca, as they are partly unspoilt.
