Today we were invited by Mateo to visit his villa Sa Caseta de Castellet together. A small but beautiful holiday home that offers everything you need for a holiday without sacrificing luxury. When we arrive at the villa, we realise that it is located on a beautiful estate surrounded by lots of trees, completely hidden away in a fabulous, secluded spot. Mateo (the owner) and his dog, who lives in the finca, give you a warm welcome. If you wish, the dog can be kept in his kennel so he doesn't roam free. We were really impressed by that alone! Everything is so natural here and after a short time you no longer feel like you're just on holiday. The strikingly large pool with outdoor shower is at the side of the house. The pool with its meandering pattern is child-friendly and has an oval step access. The pool area is surrounded by a large, spacious sun terrace with six sun loungers. If shade is needed, white parasols are available. While you relax on the sun loungers by the pool, you can enjoy a marvellous distant view over the beautiful area around Santa Margalida. Let's visit the large terrace by the house, lined with many plants, some of which are skilfully planted in disused garden accessories such as a wheelbarrow. There is a lovely dining area with white furniture under a covered terrace. For cosy get-togethers, there is polyrattan furniture with comfortable white cushions, partly in the style of a recamiere. In this villa with a view of the built-in barbecue and the fountain, you can enjoy nature and life to the full in the evenings. In addition to the barbecue, there is also an outdoor kitchen area with oven so you can enjoy a large part of your holiday outside in the mild Mediterranean.

The interior of the house is accessible from the terrace.
Although not luxurious, the classic furnishing style exudes a fabulous cosiness. The combined living, dining and kitchen area is in one open-plan space. The floors are covered with terracotta tiles, the walls are painted in a light colour and wooden beams can be seen on the ceiling. There are integrated illuminated shelves around the fireplace. The pretty accessories are shown to their best advantage in the soft light. Two comfortable sofas invite you to relax so that you can enjoy a cosy evening in front of the fireplace on cooler nights. A collection of hand-painted porcelain plates hangs on the walls, a typical example of Mallorcan craftsmanship. Between the living area and the kitchen is a large dining area with an oval wooden table. In addition to the chest of drawers, there is plenty of storage space for crockery in the kitchen units. The five-burner gas hob adds a nostalgic touch. Two double bedrooms offer space for a total of four people. One bedroom has a French-style double bed measuring 1.50 x 1.90 metres, while the second bedroom has two single beds, each measuring 0.9 x 2 metres, making this room ideal for children. The wardrobes in the rooms offer enough space for your holiday wardrobe. The daylight bathroom with bathtub and shower is shared by both bedrooms. We would like to emphasise the particularly favourable price at which we can offer the comfortable Villa Sa Caseta de Castellet, even in the high season. The price is even more attractive in low and medium season.

Last but not least, the location of Villa Sa Caseta de Castellet is simply perfect. It is far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle so that you can enjoy the rural surroundings, but is not too remote. Its location close to the road from Muro to Santa Margalida means that both towns are within easy reach. Santa Margalida is only 3.5 km away and the nearest supermarket is even closer. The authentic village of Santa Margalida exudes the authentic charm of a typical Mallorcan village and Villa Sa Caseta de Castellet fits in very well with this. It has retained its authenticity, which is one of the reasons why Santa Margalida is considered one of the most beautiful villages on the island. The drive to the beach only takes about 10 minutes; visit the well-known seaside resort of Can Picafort with its extensive beach bordering the bay of Alcúdia. Many factors contribute to this all-round harmonious picture and we at Fincallorca wish you an all-round relaxing and carefree holiday in our Villa Sa Caseta de Castellet. The pretty rustic Villa Sa Caseta de Castellet offers all the essential amenities of a holiday home, tucked away in a secluded location near the authentic village of Santa Margalida in the north of the island. Here you can go shopping and visit the local market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The pretty beaches of the east coast are only a few minutes away by car, especially those in the bay of Alcúdia, such as the coastal town of Can Picafort.
