Situated in the centre of a typical Mallorcan village, Villa Carles achieves the feat of also appealing to garden lovers: Small but beautiful is the best way to describe this property, surrounded by walls, the back of which is lush green lawn and a pool. After freshening up in the morning, you can make yourself comfortable on one of the loungers and top up your vitamin D stores. If you fancy some shade, you can either seek refuge under the stately palm tree or retreat to the covered veranda terrace landscape, which forms a cosy retreat with flower pots and solid wood furniture. This area can also be illuminated in the evening so that nothing stands in the way of a barbecue.

If you get cold, you can retreat to the cosy living room. Enjoy the marvellous view of the fireplace from the sofa, where the crackling of the fire radiates warmth and spreads peaceful thoughts. Or if you fancy some entertainment, you can sit back and watch a film or TV programme thanks to the DVD player and satellite technology. The extremely spacious and superbly equipped kitchen flows into the dining room. The 200 m² accommodation is tastefully furnished. Bright, friendly colours dominate and desks in the bedrooms ensure that you can retreat to write a postcard or two. One of the bedrooms with a double bed and its own TV is also located on the ground floor. There is also a bathroom on this level. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where one bedroom has a double bed and the luxury of its own bathroom, while another bathroom is available for travellers who sleep in the bedroom with two single beds. It also boasts its own bathtub, where you can end the day in a sensual way.

Thanks to the ring road, Vilafranca de Bonany has been able to retain its peaceful character. Until a few years ago, the free town of the good year was crowned Miss Melón, as melon cultivation dominated local agriculture for a long time. The ascent to the imposing Catedral de las montañas, the Ermita de Bonany on the hill of the same name, offers a marvellous eagle's-eye view over the plain. In the north, the extensive Badia dAlcúdia, 30 minutes by car from the small towns of Can Picafort and Son Serra de Marina, promises wonderful days at the beach. On the way there, you will pass wine villages such as Maria de la Salut and Petra. Pollença, a great starting point for hikes in the foothills of the Tramuntana mountains, is only 45 minutes away. You can also relax in the idyllic Cales de Mallorca in the east, which can be reached in half an hour by car. There is no doubt that the central location with good transport links, which can lead to audible noise in the property, offers many advantages.

Villa Carles welcomes you with a down-to-earth ambience. The tranquil Vilafranca de Bonany is so centrally located that both the airport and the east coast are only half an hour's drive away. You can do your daily shopping in the village. You can also hire bicycles here to cycle along the beautiful vineyards towards the bay of Alcúdia. Otherwise, the larger town of Manacor is only 12 kilometres away.
