You don't have to be a true romantic to fall in love with the completely modernised yet traditional Villa Son Amoyana - it will win you over all by itself. The renovated quarry stone house is in a perfect, idyllic location on a large plot surrounded by lush gardens. You will be mesmerised by the remarkably open views over the gently undulating coastal region with the Serra de Llevant mountains on the horizon and the year-round green natural surroundings. The beautiful garden also includes a large private pool with gentle stepped access for your exclusive use. Four chic polyrattan loungers and several parasols provide relaxation while sunbathing. A low ornamental stone wall separates the surrounding pool terrace from the veranda of the house, which can be reached via a few steps. The overall appearance is characterised by complete harmony and unity between the house and garden. Next to the building there are shaded areas with a sturdy table and classic wicker chairs where your merry company can enjoy the food you have prepared on the brick barbecue with oven. In fact, there are two built-in barbecues here: one to the right of the entrance, where there is also a second covered dining area with outdoor shower nearby; the other next to the pool. Next to it, a polyrattan lounge invites you to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sundowner. The various seating areas and the idyllic garden make this fabulous villa ideal for families or couples holidaying together, but who still value a certain amount of privacy, which is essential for a harmonious holiday.

Thanks to its extensive modernisation and refurbishment in 2015, this traditional Mallorcan property offers contemporary accommodation that will meet your highest expectations. The interior design is a successful blend of minimalist clarity and modern rusticity, creating a charming symbiosis with an absolute feel-good effect. On the ground floor you will find the communal areas, with living room and open-plan kitchen with chic bar. The living room is furnished with leather upholstered furniture, a fireplace set into the wall and a large LCD TV. Exposed quarry stone walls form an interesting contrast to the bright white walls. The slightly offset dining area with round table leads into the trendy country kitchen, which is equipped with every conceivable technical convenience to enhance your self-catering experience. Three of the four bedrooms are located on the ground floor and are tiled with the same terracotta-coloured floor tiles as the living room and kitchen. However, the highlight is not the large double beds (all 1.8 x 2 m) or the generous storage space for your holiday wardrobe or the exposed beams, but the ultra-chic en-suite bathrooms in each bedroom. One look at the wide walk-in showers, wooden vanity units and high-quality lighting is enough to realise that this is relaxation at its most luxurious. But of all these outstanding bathrooms, one stands out even more: the one with an exclusive whirlpool for two. The fourth bedroom is located on the upper floor and can be reached via the staircase in the living area. The outstanding design of this interior gives the impression of a luxurious hotel room in a rural villa far removed from mass tourism.

The medieval town of Capdepera, just a few minutes away by car, has retained its original charm. During the weekly market on Wednesdays, you can see the old hill town with its bright sandstone houses in its best light. Stroll through the narrow streets and climb the castle of Capdepera, which rewards you with wonderful views of the sea and the famous seaside resort of Cala Ratjada. The villa is close to the road that runs along the coast to Cala Ratjada (depending on the wind direction, there may be some traffic noise), making this lively coastal town easy to reach. There are shops, cool bars and great restaurants with harbour views. The medieval town of Artà, which lies a little further inland, is also very different from the new tourist areas along the coast. Take a stroll through the pedestrianised zone and you'll find numerous attractive shops and small brasseries. Even in winter, the numerous shops and restaurants in all these towns are bustling, which makes booking in the low season extremely attractive. We also recommend a visit to the Parc Natural, north-east of Artà. It is one of the largest nature reserves in Mallorca and combines the mountains of the Serra de Llevant with beautiful beaches, cliffs and coves on the coast. In recent years, the park has developed into an accessible paradise for hikers. Incidentally, the owners of the villa live on a completely separate property nearby, so you can enjoy complete privacy as a guest here. We can highly recommend Villa Son Amoyana.

The romantic, rustic yet exceptionally modern Villa Son Amoyana is located near the pretty village of Capdepera, close to the coast. You can find the essentials for shopping either here or in Artà. The coastal town of Cala Ratjada with its lively beach promenade and some good restaurants and bars is also just a short drive away. The Calas de Mallorca, a series of beautiful sandy beaches such as Cala Agulla, are just a short drive from the villa.
