You could almost believe that this saffron-coloured Mediterranean villa estate with its olive, fig and carob trees, palm trees, cypresses and cacti was created from the fertile soil of Campos itself. Newly built in 2015, as honest, uncomplicated and sun-ripened as a good wine, a little sparkling in places and full of character, even the first taste whets the appetite for more. A unique crescent-shaped pool around the covered terrace provides all the water you need for your daily swim - a real eye-catcher! Here you can end the day cosily with a late breakfast, a magazine or a glass of wine while the children splash around safely. You could almost be talking about a holiday in a swimming pool instead of by the pool and might be tempted to jump straight into the cool water from one of the windows (but please don't do that, it's reckless and you'll hurt yourself). )...but Ca Na Carmen will make sure you don't lose your head.

Like a fruit that delivers what its outer shell promises, the inside doesn't disappoint either: Mallorcan, down-to-earth, sunlit and flowery. A fresh breeze seems to blow through the house and airy curtains lend the room a light touch. The spacious, open-plan living, cooking and dining area is surrounded by cosy, bright blue sofas that invite you to immerse yourself in a movie night. Of course, you can also drift off into the realm of dreams in the pleasantly simple bedrooms with solid wood beds; the bedrooms are furnished with a choice of darker or lighter-coloured furniture and one of the upper bedrooms has direct access to a sheltered balcony with wonderful views over the trees to the mountains beyond. If you sleep here, you can leave the door open. The bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor, are shared by two bedrooms. All that remains to be mentioned is the modern, well-equipped kitchen with its own spot in the sun, on the walls of which crisp, fresh vegetables from the weekly market in Campos hang appetisingly: a paradise for vegetarians and raw food fans if it weren't for the fantastic brick barbecue right outside the door, which is just crying out to be used. It would be a shame not to... ¡Buen provencho!

In a landscape dominated by cows and fields, it's easy to work up an appetite. In addition to its medieval centre, the friendly town of Campos offers a few culinary insider tips, such as the charming bistro Moda Café and the Pastisseria Pomar, which is known throughout the island for its almond cakes. But if your feet start to itch in summer at Ca Na Carmen, we recommend a trip to the southern tip of Mallorca. In Colònia de Sant Jordi, the restaurants and cafés right on the harbour invite you to enjoy the sea view. Take a 30-minute boat trip to Cabrera (literally goat island), discover the enchanting light of the blue grotto or simply cool off in the crystal-clear water. Doesn't that sound like heaven on earth?

In a completely quiet, rural location and yet only a few kilometres along the Ma-19 from the small village of Campos with shopping facilities and a supermarket, the Mediterranean Villa Ca Na Carmen awaits guests who want to explore the south of the island. Santanyi, Ses Salines and Colònia de Sant Jordi at the tip of the island are not yet overrun by tourists and offer wonderful natural sandy beaches such as Es Trenc or the small Cala Santanyi as well as impressive coastal walks.
