Uncluttered and focussed on the essentials - this is the style that runs through the house and property. In this modern villa near Muro in the predominantly agricultural northern region with views of the Tramuntana mountains and plenty of nature, you can enjoy the slower pace of life and relax. From the covered terrace, you can look out over the children swinging under the tree or playing on the gravel, or you can roll out your exercise mat on the parquet-like floor and literally greet the sun. From the slightly sunken wooden pool deck, you can gaze into the distance or the sky after swimming a few laps in the newly built pool (2017). Say goodbye to the constant race against time and enjoy spending quality time with your family or friends in your favourite villa ... It is also home to a lovely cat who loves to be spoilt by guests with the supply of kibbles in the house, but can also be moved to another house during your stay if you wish.

For those who like their homes cool and uncluttered, for whom clean lines and practical design are their personal feel-good factor, Villa Butxequi is worth more than a cursory glance. The living area consists of an unrendered brick wall, large panoramic windows, brown leather tones and large-format pictures. The serving hatch creates the perfect transition to the ultra-modern kitchen with cooking block counter, fridge with ice dispenser, wall-mounted TV and a door to the outside area, while the Nespresso machine adds a bright splash of colour. There is a grand piano in the adjoining music room: what could be better than tasting a few wines from Bodega Butxet while listening to soothing piano music on the terrace and then relaxing in bed? Two comfortable bedrooms are furnished with a 1.8 metre and a 1.5 metre wide double bed as well as large wardrobes; one of them even offers you a workplace. And the little ones (alone or as a double) can look forward to a spacious, cosy room with a pull-out bed. The stylish bathroom with walk-in shower is shared (washing machine and tumble dryer are separate). After freshening up in the morning (indoors or outdoors), you can dry off on the pool deck and enjoy the first espresso of the day - the ultimate wake-up call ...

Muro is small but full of olé. It has an old church and the sandstone buildings are just as worth seeing as the remains of the Roman and Arab colonisation of the region and the thriving wine industry. Bodega Butxet on the way to Can Picafort is known for its excellent Syrah. Visit the ethnological museum in an old manor house and experience everyday life on the island in the past. Muro is a good choice if you are looking for peace and quiet but don't want to miss out on good transport links such as the occasionally audible Ma-3342, which will take you comfortably to the most popular beaches in the north. For sand dune fans, beach lovers, kitesurfers and windsurfers, the 5.5 km long Playa de Muro is the place to be and for many still one of the most beautiful places on the island; excursion boats dock at the central wooden jetty. But you also have a good chance of finding the perfect wave in Serra de Marina. So surf over to Butxequi now... In the so-called vegetable basket of Mallorca, between Santa Margalida (5 km) and Sa Pobla (8 km), lies this minimalist villa, surrounded by greenery, with an infinity pool, parking for four cars and a single garage. In a few minutes by car you can reach the small town of Muro with shopping facilities for daily needs and in half an hour you can reach the town of Inca, which is known for its leather and wine production and is ideal for larger shopping trips. Can Picafort and the popular seaside resorts along the bay of Alcúdia are less than 20 kilometres away.
