The inviting Villa Son Segi is a shining example of a typical Mallorcan country house with exceptional flair. The single-storey building with its brown wooden shutters on the windows and patio doors offers a well-divided living space for a family or two to three couples (with or without children). The house is surrounded by a natural garden full of palm trees, bamboo grasses and lemon and olive trees. A particular highlight of the chic pool is the pool bar at the stepped shallow end - where better to enjoy a refreshing drink than in the cool water? The pool is connected to the house by a natural stone terrace and offers enough space for six sun loungers and two parasols to cool off in the heat of the day. An L-shaped covered veranda overlooking a delicate fountain provides a spacious dining area, which is particularly attractive on days when you want to use the built-in barbecue. At the other end of the expansive terrace you will find a casual lounge area with polyrattan furniture where you can relax in the hammock with your favourite book while your family enjoys themselves elsewhere.

The veranda offers multiple entrances into the well-planned interior of the villa, where you are greeted by a classic rustic interior with terracotta-coloured floor tiles, heavy wooden beams, light-coloured walls and stone pillars. The space is open-plan and divided by numerous visual refinements, creating an all-round cosy and relaxed atmosphere. An extremely cosy living area with a large corner sofa and nostalgic wood-burning stove invites you to spend a quiet evening in front of the TV. A partition wall with glass inserts separates this room from the dining area with its solid wood furniture and seamlessly connects it to the kitchen via a kind of counter. The farmhouse kitchen with its dark wooden fronts is of course equipped with everything you need for relaxed self-catering - after all, this is one of the reasons why you chose this villa. The bedrooms are all furnished with double beds and spacious built-in wardrobes. Whether you have brought your holiday wardrobe with you or bought it at the island's markets, there is plenty of storage space here. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The shower room also serves as a laundry room and has a door directly to the terrace, making it perfect for entering the house from the pool. Everything you could wish for in a sophisticated villa can be found here in this compact house full of pragmatism and tradition.

The delightful rural location of Son Segi sets the tone for your villa holiday, yet is only a five-minute drive from the pretty village of Sant Llorenc, where you can shop, dine in the local restaurants or soak up the atmosphere at the colourful Thursday market. The villa is close to the road between Manacor and the medieval town of Artà (depending on the wind direction, there may be some traffic noise), so larger towns are also within easy reach for great shopping trips or walks. A trip to the beach or one of the many natural bays is just as easy. If you like to be active, this region offers countless hiking and cycling trails that lead past pre-Christian megalithic towers whose origins date back to the Talaiot culture: a jewel of Balearic history. We wish you an eventful, varied and harmonious holiday at the beautiful Villa Son Segi. The delightful Villa Son Segi with its original pool bar is located near the cosy village of Sant Llorenc in the east of the island. Here you can do your daily shopping and on Thursdays there is a colourful weekly market. Larger towns such as Manacor or the medieval town of Artà are within easy reach. The beautiful sandy beaches of the Calas de Mallorca region are just a short drive from the finca; the beaches at the harbour town of Porto Cristo or S'Illot are just two examples.
